Recently I have done the benchmark and as you can see i am just iron. I want to first clarify that I have been playing fps games for 2 years now and today in 2025 I want to reach at least grandmaster for all categories.

The bardoz method states that your initial flicks is fast (Aping) and take your time on the micro adjustments, The issue here is since you must do the fast motion which causes my aim to either curve and not create a straight line or worse by the time I try to micro adjust realistically my opponent should have moved or killed me. So I don't know if I should be still doing this plus when I ape my arm I cant do initial flick and micro adjustment in one smooth motion.

The metronome method seems to be a meme for the aim community, I want to know more. I tried this for one week with one rule, if there are clusters I must aim for wider targets instead of the shortest ones. (What I mean is if there is a cluster I find one that is far get back to the cluster and repeat) I found this to be the most effective for me as a beginner (despite 2 years of fps gaming). Theoretically this is "bad" from what I have researched since I am pacing myself for a speed that is either too slow or not realistic for the games I play.

Which leads to smooth is slow. Isnt the whole point of training is to get faster and faster? Why am I getting bombarded with information that speed is what you need with flicks? I thought the saying “Slow is smooth, smooth is fast” is what we usually do when we do with something unfamiliar? Why all of a sudden we go against the grain of years of basically a proven tested fact?
Anyway I would like to point that I am not arguing but giving points. I appreciate if you would include your insights!! Highly appreciated and I am open for criticism if my question seems dumb or naive
