generally the range is .25-.4 at 800 or .125-.2 at 1600 there are outliers like leaf or primmie and .2 800 or .1 1600 is becoming somewhat more common but the general range stays the same
@fossil kiln's advice is correct. Try something smaller than 0.4 if you have an 800 dpi mouse or 0.2 if you are using 1600.
One thing to note is that you only need to 180 in one direction, so you could default to holding your mouse not in the center of your pad, but 1/3 to the side, then practice 180 degree turns to the far side. That will help you get the most out of a small pad.
im on 1600 dpi so i tried 0.2 which its great but one thing i dont like is how a 180 takes up the whole mousepad
Not sure if this makes a differences but i mearsured my mousepad again and it was around 9x8
you could try .25 which is 400 e-dpi (because .25 * 1600 = 400) but that puts you very much at the upper end of what people who find success use
you could try turning your mouse pad diagonal to get a slightly longer left-right distance. but at some point your mouse pad is just small and that will limit your ability to succeed.
