#struggle with bad mechanic valorant immo1
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
My microadjustment sucks, feels like i always have the worst mechanic skills in my lobbies. I can kill ppl only with cheeky angles or some outplay moves that's why im always bottomfrag. Playing consistently for like 1year already also using kovaaks and I dont rlly see some improvement since i start grind. In this pov i tried take my time and giving my self more time to confirmation my hits but so you can see how hard it is for me... I just dont feel my mouse properly idk how can i explain but its feels kinda weird when im trying to do some microadjustment and click. using 50-60cm
2:45 4:35
Can't help u on the in game part but what do u play on kovakks?
from what I can see, you try to predict too much, also, when put in a situation where you micro you do a small flick and hope for the best. Which is improper cause if they move and have you miss, you die, which is what happens.
Yea ig u right so any tips how to fix it?
i made my own playlist with majority of micros it looks like that:
also im playing smoothness & precision playlist by voltaic
taking time while shooting is a good start, however, you also have to actively aim more. In regards to tips viscose has a good video on it that will explain it better than I ever could https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjKFoXQ4Dc0&t=276s
Are clicking focused tasks actually the best way to train for valorant?
Hi! This is the first episode of a new series I'm starting called scenario spotlight, where I talk about lesser known or underutilised scenarios in aim trainers and how to best incorporate them into your training, if anyone has any suggestions for other categories lesser kn...
stop using movement to adjust your aim all the time and use ur mouse. theres a lot of times you see that ur off target and instead of adjusting you just strafe for another 2 seconds
also look at 2:45 against neon. see how ur missing bc ur lagging behind her a lot? its a mix of you not being ready to shoot, but u shoot anyways. and just being too slow with your adjustments. your first 3 shots ur tracking her ghost and then you try to do this mini flick to where she actually is, which causes u to miss.
try playing a couple dms and focus on standing completely still while ur fighting and adjusting a littttle bit faster. see what happens. ur gonna have to take ur time to confirm ur on the head as well as be fast enough to not die while ur lining up the shot. its tough but i think itll help
ty but its kinda hard to keep hit confirmation which one is my significant issue with increasing my speed of adjustments
understandable. as you try to change this it will feel awkward and weird. hit confirmation is something that you want to take up as little time as possible. its hard to explain but you almost want it to be where you are simply clicking/shooting when you think you are on target. and then with as little time in between as possible you are preparing and aiming for the next shot.
can u do me a favor and send a vod of a widewall static scenario?
yea i can try
i never used to play it but anyway my static sucks cause i need too much time for confirm my hits
do u play kovaaks regularly?
yea im playing for like 9months ig already had 150hs also i played aimlabs for 100h before kovaaks
it looks like youre almost just not confident and its holding you back. sure your static needs some work but everyones does. there are moments in that vod you sent where u almost perfectly get to 1-3 targets in a row but on each one you sit there triple checking ur on target. i think your aim is a bit better than you allow urself to think it is.

take a look at this and try implementing it in the way you practice on aim trainers and when u warmup on val. play comp like u normally play, dont worry about mistakes too much just notice them so that you can practice them later. this will also probably cause scores to drop but i think it will help u in the long run.
heres some kovaaks scenarios you can try to play as well to help with micros.
cloverrawcontrol easy
pureg horizontal clicking valorant
extra controlsphere 25% slower
1w4t_vbr raspberry
tried to keep it short and simple but with a lot of condensed information too, please let me know if you have any questions or feedback :)

ty for ur advices so grateful for it! I'll try this scenarios in my next training day.
Also about shimmy tutorial, i saw that before and ig im good with an understanding of his technique u can check my vod of 1w6ts when i tried to use it:https://youtu.be/avvqxrg9dKQ
but when im doing some large flicks it scared me with that technique cause it includes microadjusment after flick so im automatically trying to make fast flick with high tension directly to the target to avoid potential micro that's why my aim sucks ig...
this looks good. there are some inconsistencies especially with the wider flicks as you mentioned. but i think you have a good base and can definitely get a lot of improvement with this
i suggest adding in wide wall scenarios to your training. one with larger targets so you can practice the initial flick speed and deceleration. and one with smaller targets so you can focus more on what happens after your initial flick.
with the smaller version. try to slow down just a tiny tiny bit on ur initial flick and focus on being mindful of where your xhair is. try to understand what it takes for you to speed it up and slow it down and how you use your fingers/hand to micro adjust onto the bot once you get close.
but like i said. it looks good i think u just need to play more and be confident in transitioning it into ur valorant gameplay 🦾
