so i have this habit where i tend to not micro adjust, instead wait and hope for the target to move into my crosshair. Also when i see a target, i flick onto it, but i dont tend to micro adjust, which makes me lose, and incorporate strafing into the equation and yea, i suck half the time. I play valorant btw. If anyone could help it would mean a lot
#how do i train myself to adjust my crosshair onto the target before firing

Idk im having the same problem, the best tip i can give is slow down then build speed over time, im currently on a loosing streak but all my kills are not rushed kills
the problem is, if i slow it down, im dead
like any gunfight i take is like, risky, without abilities, if my crosshair aligns, its over, otherwise im done for. its just about micro adjusting while strafing
So if ur not slowing down ur not dying? Then whats the problem?
slowing down as in my aim
what im trying to say is, i forget to microadjust, instead i use my movement keys to align, which doesnt work too well when the enemy also strafes
Start focusing be intentional in every fight
ok so i looked over some tutorials and all
so, what the guy recommended was, keep the crosshair at head level, and then have ur initial flick, the n strafe, and when u strafe adjust ur aim, as in if ur crosshair is a little to the right of the enemy, move slightly to the left to align it, kinda, thats what i atleast understood, idk
Can u link them lol
Not gonna lie to you had same problem as u, what helped me was not think about it and just take my time to aim, just play and u will get hang of it just dont think about it, it should be concious for u
ill try to find itt
Wohoojin?
umm try not to kill ur enemy on ur first flick, flick to shoot them on their body, once they get slow down, strafe and finish them, doing it like this will gradually help u adjust ur micros, put it simply shoot the body first with ur first flick (which slows down the opponent) and then strafe and finish them
and you should do tasks like static clicks, or tasks and scenarios which are focused on micro adjustments, the proper way of doing them is focusing on the accuracy and not the speed, gradually u will gain speed and u ur flicks will be much more accurate
