#need to improve tracking

crosshair is too big, you cant properly focus on your moving targets
Sup 😄
Well in my opinion this scenario is too hard. It’s not a shame, it still is too hard for me as well. Basically, when tracking targets, no matter the situation, you’re trying to follow the bot’s movement. First thing is sometimes you’re trying to predict the bot’s movement (maybe because you feel confident enough to react to it’s variations in movement) by either waiting for it to strafe back to you, or by overadjusting when the bot changes direction, leading you to wait for the bot. Those two actions lead to you missing opportunities of hitting, losing momentum which you are going to need to recreate once the bot meets your crosshair, or even worse if the bot changes direction again before even crossing your crosshair. I would suggest going in free play mode and tweaking the speed settings (start with 0.5x speed and work your way up when you feel comfortable). Any time you notice you’re either predicting or stoping the movement or whatever other mistake, take a step back and analyze what could have lead you to do this.
Technique is very fundamentally sound; you should be prioritizing ultra smoothness and maintaining this level of responsiveness while improving the quality of your straight lines
Play thin variants of scenarios like mid range fast strafes invincible
Might also benefit you to make some custom scenarios for yourself in kovaaks: ultra thin variants or maybe an easier one with a never miss component to encourage ultra clean technique
so should i grind smoothness or only thin variants of scenarios
You should add them to whatever else you’re already doing
Scoring higher requires the additionally perfection of your technique
Find small imperfections in your tracking and eliminate them
Starting with the jitter
I completely agree with you on this one, what i DISAGREE with you on is that its too "hard". I dont know if your saying that just because its hard, you should quit, but just because a scenario is too hard, you shouldnt quit. Humans can adapt to alot of things very fast, this guy should just keep playing this scenario over and over till it comes to frustration, thats where your brain will forcefully make u adapt to it.
Also, 0.5x speed could be helpful, i 100% agree
yeah alright maybe I didn't explain myself enough on that topic hehe
What I mean by "too" hard is that, as you told, humans can adapt very fast to different situations. If you play to get good technique, well you will be able to pull it off eventually, when you pick up that something was wrong and why it was the case (although slowing down the scenario helps identify those mistakes better imo). But if you play to get a higher score, you will develop short term strategies to "hit more" (in the long run you don't hit more but it feels like it in the present moment). That's why I was saying it could be "too" hard, but yeah that's just how I experience things myself :))
Again, i 100% agree. What i was a little unsure about if you were saying that, "if its too hard, just give up or move on to a new scenario or do something else". But if your saying that you should maybe do some other techniques to get more confident with the scenario like turning the speed down to 0.5x, then thats awesome.
Oh oops my bad indeed you’re right, in my first message, it looks like I’m telling everyone to give up lmao
haha, no worries brotha
