#Viper Mini Shape Feels Better, But I aim better with the HTX, Could It Be the Sensor?

I got a Viper Mini Wireless mod 3–4 months ago and love the shape and build quality, but I aim better with the HTX 4K. While I think I prefer the Mini's shape, the mod's sensor is positioned much lower, making it feel less responsive, almost like my sensitivity is reduced by 20–30%. The HTX’s sensor sits higher, which makes it feel more responsive. I’m wondering if the sensor placement is the reason, or if I’m misjudging my preference for the Mini’s shape and or missing something else.

Another factor is that the HTX 4K is about 10 grams heavier than the Viper Mini mod, which is a significant difference too. Despite the weight, I still aim better with the HTX, which makes me wonder if the sensor placement outweighs the shape and weight factors somehow.

it could be the sensor placement. my question is how's the sensor placement on default viper mini

Oouuhh good question

I think sensor placement has a much bigger impact on wrists movement and can make a massive difference depending on your abilities and preferences (if the sensor is closer to your wrist, you’re going to have to move your wrist more, but it also gives you a more controlled aproach), maybe finding a mouse that has both the shape and the sensor placement will help 👀

# torn lark htx is heavier?

Yea the viper mini mod is around 31g, my Htx 4K is at like 42-44, the sensor placement on the default viper mini is similar to the HTX’s but lower by a few millimeters

Not perfectly aligned but hopefully this pic can give you an idea of what I’m talking about.
