I just hit master complete for the first time. Kinda sucks that it is on the new aimlabs benches that are still on beta so i cant have the badge but never the less i am really happy with this and i just wanted to share my experience during the grind with some ppl.
Every thing that follows is my opinion that i have concluded on after aim training for almost half a year and around 500 hours into aim trainers. Also I will be talking only about the intermediate benchmarks as these are the only ones i have put time into.
I will start with my thoughts on the benchmarks. First of all i think most scenarios are well balanced, meaning that with the corect technique and slightly pushing yourself you can get most master scores. personal favorites were VT Angleshot Intermediate S3, VT Shifttrack Intermediate S3, VT Steadytrack Intermediate S3, VT Dartswitch Intermediate S3, VT Smoothswitch Intermediate S3. I felt like these required a good amount of effort to break while also maintaining a fun factor.
Moving onto the scenarios that are under balanced. The new " Linear " category is honestly a meme. I aped the first 3-5 (around 70% acc and if i remember even sub 70% on one of them) attempts and got the rank. Although then i tried to get some better runs with proper technique which made the scenarios really fun to play. So i guess the take away is to punish missing considerably more. Other than that maybe some of the tracking scores, the reactive and the control ones, might also be under balanced because I remember getting them relatively quickly ( around a day for each one ) which alone is not an issue but i consider myself lacking into those categories.
Ending the "review" with the ones that i think are over balanced. The only ones that I feel like are really hard are the static ones. they are the only ones that I had to push myself to the point that my parts of my arm hurt. I might be over reacting and i be the worst static player to ever touch it...
