Game lag in Menu since I have 8k Polling rate

I got my new mouse yesterday and since ive plugged it in and used the 8k polling my game just laggs everytime I move it in any kind of Menu ( Clove Smoke menu, Agent select, etc ) it also happens in other games Like Kovaaks or Aimlabs. How can I fix?

turning on raw input buffer should fix this in most games (valorant + aimlabs), i still have this problem in kovaaks though and my only fix so far has just been switching my polling rate to 2k when i play games with this problem

i have heard that a certain windows 11 update has fixed this problem across most if not all games though so i'm curious if you're on windows 10 or 11. if anyone can verify the windows 11 fix that'd be great

I am on Windows 11 and the latest update Helped alot in Valorant Menus, in Kovaaks it still lags alot
