im a low sens val player (0.2 800 80cm/360) but i used to play a lot higher at around 0.3 / 54cm. i gradually kept lowering my sens to maximise precision until i hit 0.2 and now i can aim pretty well but i get fatigued + my micros arent very snappy since they're coming from the arm.

when i try to raise my sens to 0.27+ i notice that my precision goes out the window and i cant hit anything. i feel like i need to up it because it's not all about precision, and i need to be able to flick and turn around since it's often required in valorant.

any advice on how to get used to higher sens?

switch to a crazy high sens in val or in an aim trainer, like for you 40cm and play on it for like two days or so then you can swich to like 50 or 55 cm just fine

so after going on the high sens to adjust and then going to the "goal" sens you just stick with it, sens is also 100% not the thing that is holding you back as long as you are in that range of 40-65cm for val

hm, some pros do play even lower than 80cm but i guess i dont have the mouse control to pull it off as well as they do

yeah ive been thinking about that, probably best to pick something in the middle so im not much of an outlier. is there anywhere i can find stats like mean / median sens among pros?

@shadow jolt tried .27 800 and hit some lifeshots but some inconsistencies here and there. do you reckon sticking between 0.24 and 0.27, changing whenever i feel like it, is fine?

if you feel that it works, its prob the best thing to do, just try not to over think it, there really doesn't exist a perfect sens

yeah makes sense, i just dont want to be copying pro players and thinking theyre playing well only because of that sens

play 0.2 but dont tense tense your grip and aim train with holding the mouse as gently as possible thats probs why youre getting fatigued
