#How do I improve my static clicking from silver to gold?

  • prioritize clusters and smaller flicks. You should be thinking of the path of the next few targets
  • you should be going faster in clusters
  • after you shoot a target, immediately flick to the next one without confirming that you hit the target. You should avoid shooting the same target twice in a row
#

Can you tell me what sensitivity you're using, in cm/360? Also, what playlist are you using to practice static

#

Your micros seem pretty slow to me. That could be caused by a sensitivity that's too fast, or maybe you just need to work on them more

Jeez no wonder your micros looked slow. That sens is super fast which makes it much harder to have finer control

#

You should experiment with slower sensitivities. A common sens for static is 80cm. At the very least slow it down to 40cm, and then try out slower ones

#

Ahh I see, I had that problem as a kid and also used a fast sens

#

It'll depend on the game. For tac fps you'll want a slower sens, for others you may want it faster

#

But you should still be able to do a 180 in one swipe

#

For cs2 you definitely want a slower sens. Idk much about r6

#

Hold on, there's a relevant pic I'll try to find

#

You can also take a look at what sens pros use for your game

#

40 is what I use for tac fps. For those games you'll have to make lots of small adjustments

#

Yeah it's annoying at first but it's worth it

#

You should put some effort into developing your arm aim, though it'll be tiring

#

Try to do big movements with your arm, and small adjustments with your wrist

#

E.g. in cs you can maintain crosshair placement and switch angles with your arm, and then leave your wrist for small adjustments onto players

#

Tbh I switch to 15cm or 20cm for most other non-competitive games because I'm lazy

#

Yeah, for now try focusing on using arm aim for crosshair placement and see how that helps

#

Ooo nice. It might take some practice to get used to arm aiming though, so you'll have to be patient

#

But you should see some improvement in your micros

#

30 is still pretty fast, but you'll have to see what you're comfortable with

#

What's the slowest sens you can still do a 180 on?

#

Okay, so for cs experiment with sensitivities around 30cm to 50cm

#

Sure

#

For aim training you can also try slower sensitivities for some tasks where you don't need to do huge motions

#

Try 60cm for some static scenarios where you don't need to do 180s. Keep trying it for a few days and see how that goes

#

You can use a faster sens for tracking scenarios and tracking-heavy games

#

Lots of people recommend 80cm for static haha

#

I think your micros look better in this clip

#

You'll need more practice with fast flicks on that sens

kindred solstice
#

Nice, yeah you should definitely be able to get to gold soon at that rate

#

a lot of things, but first focus to improve that overflicking

#

play more pokeball

#

i see that you are trying to do a very explosive flick, that's making your confirmation slower and your making you to think more your micro-adjust

#

its hard to learn a good technique of clicking with 10cm

#

pokeball will make you have that habit of microcorrect automatically when you fail a shoot

frosty pine
#

thank you so much

tidal jacinth
#

but if you want to actually improve your microcorrection for not missing the shot when the target is close try reflex flick scenarios (small as YOU CAN), scenarios with little movement and small and play more pokeball

#

pushing speed is needed to improve a micro-correction, but you need to have a good technique before that

tidal jacinth
#

i know a lot of micro corrections playlist if you want to try that

frosty pine
#

yeah sure

#

I spent a lot of time looking for one

#

that would be very helpful
