#Flick offs and overdoing movement(Valorant)

As you get better movement and dueling skills you'll understand when to strafe and how much to throw off the enemies cross-hair, I recommend you do some movement practice in the range and weave in shots between strafes with a deagle or rifle
Go at a slow pace at first and then speed up
currently i play on 38.97cm/360
and i do panic alot true, slowing down and trying to actually move crosshair on someone while there spraying makes me just default to shooting asap
idk how to rlly break that habit other then not caring about kd as much? which is difficult for me
the wider strafes thing makes sense thanks! i just always seen people doing the smallest strafes so just copied it in dm
Dope clip also isolating 1v1s is another thing i suck at but am trying to improve
So basically just take my time more and go full turtle and do movement in the range?
You can see in that clip I know there's one to my left so I back pedal and use pillar as cover to 1v1 jett
As a general rule, move less =kill more
Move more = die less
It's good that you aren't just insta crouching
yeah i broke that habit early on just unbinding crouch and forcing my brain to rewire itself
def helped with my hs% in games but as you seen i still have issues in other areas of aiming haha
My cm/360 actually is alot lower then it used too be
I used to main around 33cm, last year i lowered it a bunch and settled on 38cm because i missed the maneuverability and speed but also enjoyed the precision and 38 fit all of it and it just felt comfortable in all areas to me
just need to practice with it more
but like you said movement training for the confidence is def gonna help me alot with that aswell
highest rank ive achieved so far was diamond {like barely in diamond} with 33 so im sure the control will come overtime just need alot more practice with it in valorant lately been grinding out deathmatches constantly for hours trying to adjust which made me pay more attention to mistakes which then lead to this point
also the 1v1 advice and dm method im def gonna try that seems really useful and the vod def helps make it make sense
Yea don't play for k/d at all, too many death match players bot it and try to win, play to improve, crouching also isn't bad either it's just when you crouch, use it as a tool but not as a panic oh shit button
Spray transfers are and always will be the fastest way to kill as many people possible and win fights otherwise impossible
definitely will try this for a week or two thanks m8! really appreciate all the tips and feedback
allg ❤️
Will do althought idk what you mean by the second part haha i might be a bit slow
he means dont counterstrafe until you are confident your shot is on target
kinda old thread but ive like mindblocked the entire movement aspect of this game and my clips look just like yours im not sure how to fix it
i feel like i really struggle with like peaking off angles it makes me wanna jiggle instantly and usually causes me to panic in game then i die lol
