hello all, again.

i am looking for some advice with the VDIM and my main game Valorant. today is Wednesday, which means that it is precise tracking. my in-game valorant sens is 0.18 1600dpi--which is roughly around 45.4 cm/360.

however, during the VDIM trainings i use a different sens and it is a bit faster, they are as follows:
1. 37.5 cm/360 for static
2. 32.5 cm/360 for dynamic and TS
3. 25 cm/360 for tracking

i have noticed that the weakest parts of my aim are tracking ( smooth/precise specifically ) and dynamic clicking.

yesterday, i trained my dynamic clicking with the VDIM playlist. i was very proud of myself as i was able to achieve quite a few new high scores, even in a couple scenarios my, i was getting a new high score one run after the other.

i want to become a better aimer, i really do. not just for my game of valorant, but also so that i can achieve the goals that i have with benchmarking and my aiming outside of the game--however, my main goals and aspirations are to improve my aim for valorant. i have found that my consistency to the VDIM training and such have translated quite well to my main game of valorant. i am still struggling to get the scores and success i want within aim training, and when i have tracking days i find that when i go into valorant it feels my static aim takes a little bit of a hit.

i know that training with a higher sens than the lower sens you play on in-game is better and theoretically should allow you to find much more success within your game. i have noticed that my tracking ( smooth and precise ) have significantly improved, yet my dynamic is still lagging way behind. i excel greatly in static, getting new high scores in tasks consistently within the VDIM static playlists. however, is precise and smooth tracking really that important for valorant ??? should i not put more focus into dynamic and static clicking as well as TS ??? for example, i find that my aim is way more consistent in-game of valorant on Monday's when i train static, whereas on Wednesday's or Fridays i am not consistent. Monday's i seem to hit accurate shots, my HS% is high and i do very well in my gunfights versus the contrary of the tracking days.

i just want to understand better how to improve the way i want with my aim, while also staying consistent in-game, and sadly, i am simply not finding that consistency right now.

any and all advice would be helpful, and if you want/need VODs, let me know and i can definitely record some. . . this has been a goal of mine as well, is to start recording my training sessions !!!

thanks so much and i look forward to all of the advice !!!

i am still struggling to get the scores and success i want within aim training,

Do not focus on scores. Focus on consistency. Keep playing playlists that challenge you enough and just trust the progress.

and when i have tracking days i find that when i go into valorant it feels my static aim takes a little bit of a hit.

As I said in #advice, don't aim train specific category solely for the idea to have an "aimboost" in your main-game right after the training session. Nothing wrong with having game-specific training playlists, but they should be simply for training and not as a quick-aim booster. Keep your training well-rounded, and maybe make a very very short playlist to warm-up in before hopping over.

however, is precise and smooth tracking really that important for valorant ???

Tracking trains smoothness. Smoothness is incredibly important for overall aiming.

should i not put more focus into dynamic and static clicking as well as TS ???

No. Just keep your trainign well-rounded.

find that my aim is way more consistent in-game of valorant on Monday's when i train static, whereas on Wednesday's or Fridays i am not consistent. Monday's i seem to hit accurate shots, my HS% is high and i do very well in my gunfights versus the contrary of the tracking days.

As I said earlier: don't do aim training with the idea it will be an "aimbooster" for your match right after. That is not the mindset you want to have. You will have good and bad days regardless of what you choose to do. Just focus on consistency with your training, the rest will follow.

i just want to understand better how to improve the way i want with my aim, while also staying consistent in-game, and sadly, i am simply not finding that consistency right now.

Simply more practise. That is all.
