#850 hours of aim training and still gold complete
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i was pretty focused i'd say but there's no way to measure it and yeah the last time i've fixed an issue? idk if i've completely fixed the issue but my aim is very shaky so i got a friend who was an aim coach to give me a routine a while ago i've been using that when my aim gets shaky i used it consistently but didn't see much benefit now i've been trying to fix my issues with fast strafes about the constant tremors YES A LOT i might be dysgraphic my iq report literally said my gross motor skills were below average (i took the test 6 years ago tho )
can i see a vod of a fast strafe run i might be able to help
can u give me a scenario
any tracking scenario that is at your skill level should work
so i've been struggling with the reactive tracking ones that tend to be fast strafes i got it from low gravity's routine for gold complete so its supposed to be my skill level but i suck at it i gotta warn you its horrible and my screen has a seizure imma send the vod brb
sounds good
no space might take a while btw^
thats okay
its normally worse
dang you pbed
exactly :/
explain how you use your fingers/wrist/arm while doing this scenario
i dont use fingers since they're extremely jittery but i use my arm to flick to the target then i use wrist to make the adjustments by the time i do this the target alr moves away and the cycle repeats
do you use the mouse button to click?
wdym? i use default shoot binds left click to shoot
if holding down the click button/clicking it makes your shakyness worse id definitly reccomend rebinding it to something else
damn that might help my fingers jitter wayy more than my arm i'll try binding it to the side buttons maybe since i alr use my thumb to grip my mouse
also when i look at the target it looks like it teleports rather than strafing is this how everyone sees? i think thats my main issue
People who experiance this usually have trouble with staying smooth. this is usually fixed by making sure youre moving your mouse in smooth movements. like the way you play tracking tasks is to track in 1 smooth motion per time the bot changes direction
can you send me a vod of you doing smoothbot?
its way harder to tell if you doing something fundamentally wrong because fast strafes probably make your tremors worse but something like smoothbot will still show your fundamentals with hopefully less tremor activation
is that a specific scenario? if yes what is the exact name
its a benchmark scenario
yeah i realized right after i said that im playing it rn
there^
i wouldnt reccomend setting your shoot button to any button on your mouse because the pressure probably makes you shake more and aim training is mouse control.
it seems like sometimes when youre tracking your tremors dont act up as much do you know why this is?
to me the strafes are extremely fast probably since i've only played games with limited strafing i think in a way the strafing throws me off making it look jittery maybe? my sens is pretty low too 41cm so smooth scenarios feels easier and the bot is a lot slower
are you looking at the target or the crosshair
i look at both in a way? i use my peripheral vision to look at the crosshair or sometimes the other way around
i want you to
- Only move your mouse in 1 smooth motion when it changes direction
- rebind your shoot to left control
and i want you to play this task again and tell me how it feels
by "this" you mean smooth bot right? (if yes edit the above message)
yes
feels almost the same tbh
The bot looking jittery can be caused by you not being smooth/stable or your vision not being focused on the bot enough
Check out this video aswell if you want https://youtu.be/DQK_-exDInY?si=2LuFDK-yuCh1Chg0
Also I don't think changing the bind key would be helpful as it's just a bandage for you not being smooth, in real games it definitely won't help
Hey guys,
In this video I will go into detail on how to improve your reactive tracking skills.

@ornate geyser what have you tried to help with your tremors?
so i first thought it was an issue with smoothness so i asked someone i know for a good smoothness routine my scores were pretty decent but i was only getting better at the scenario and in game and in other scenarios my hand tremors the same i asked an aim coach friend of mine for the reason he suggested a reactivity conditioning routine which i used for a bit which did not help all that much i struggled with pasu as well so i tried pasu small grinded it out and pasu felt easy but my scores plummet right after doing a different pasu task and not pasu small and i automatically suck at it again then my friend suggested i aimtrain on a high sens for a few mins before playing on my orginal sens which massively helped but it was more of a temporary solution because the more i played on my org sens the worse the tremors got as the day progressed to the point where even when im playing on 65.31cm it looks like im playing on a freakishly high sens when people spectate me
so my aim is normal when i significantly lower my sens but when i get used to the sens my aim gets all jittery again
ty i'll check it out
@ornate geyser have you ever thought about playing a task just to see how much you can lower the amount of jitters you go in the task?
id really reccomend doing this
Also are you sure you're not being too tense especially when you try going back onto the target after it switches directions?
Looking at this it doesn't seem like you're predicting since you do well on longer strafes but you start spazzing out when the bot changes directions
Referencing the video above when a bot changes directions you should try smoothly matching its speed to sort of catch back up instead of hard flicking onto it
i've done it but my aim only gets good at that specific task and when i switch scenarios it goes back to being jittery i havent tried this in fast strafes tho i'll try it out thanks
try to think about how your making your movements and try to replicate it across a different task
you might be onto something man i do think i tense up and i'll try this out i do flick onto targets in fast strafes too i think this might be an issue for sure
Yeah and for precise scenarios like this you really want to have the least amount of tension possible
sounds pretty hard to do consciously this seems like more of a subconscious thing but i'll try to do it consciously
yeah a lot of tension is bad if you dont have tremors and its a LOT worse if you do
feels pretty hard to control when i put no tension i think this can be trained tho but since i have dysgraphia i tend to grip my mouse pretty tight its hard to tell if im using tension so ig i'll need to be extra conscious of this
What I did was hold m1 with the least amount of force then try maintaining that throughout the run
imagine your mouse has shards of glass stuck in it so you cant put too much pressure on it
i tried this out it works pretty well for smooth bot but for faststrafes it doesn't really help a notieb amount
lol this reminds me the one time someone told me to imagine it to be an egg and it'd crack if i death grip i tend to forget this when i play cant do this for a long duration honestly
ye this is what i did too when you asked me to reduce tension
do the tremors effect your other hand the same? if it effects your other hand less it might be a good idea to change hands
do you guys think i should try messing with the time scale and doing the task with lower speed and working my way up?
yeah time scale stuff can be good for working yourself up
never tried it but i've been told that i was a left hander and my teacher had me switch to right at an early age my left thumb had an extra bone or sumn so i had to get surgery which practically paralyzed it for multiple years its fine now but i think its slightly harder to use my left because of this
id honestly try this if your left hand is less shaky (it would probably take a bit to get used to
do i send a vod with left hand? honestly i cant tell which is more stable
Hmm id just practice with your left for like 15 minutes a day give it a few days and see how you feel
if its not that much better youll lose like 30-45 minutes of your time if it is better youll be happy for trying
i actually aim trained on my left today it did feel pretty natural but using my arm felt odd and i was underflicking with then same sens i think i might try this out i think it'd easily take 200h to get used to left
yeah try it out for a few days and if it feel better switch to it
ty i'll take all the suggestions
wouldnt rebinding only solve the issue for aim training since in game theres still gonna be pressure from holding it down
i dont really know but i think it could be helpful for developing proper aiming techniques
when you move your wrist left to right do you notice something similar to a stutter or tremor, my aim is similar to yours just a little worst and everytime i track left to right its just shaking almost 300 hours i think
some people rebind fire to spacebar
yeah i do but it depends on the day i have good days and bad days and on good days my aim is alright enough to look normal other days it looks like i cranked up my sens to max my clips look flashy when im jittering but it ruins my aim quite a bit
when i use wrist on low sens its pretty smooth honestly on high sens its all over the place i used a specific scenario to fix my wrist jitters which might help you too its called "pole long dodge"
