im wondering why im so bad at 1w5ts i just dont seem to improve much eventhough i play static for 30-60 minutes daily on top of my normal routines, i improve at every static scenario except for 1w5ts. is there something wrong with my technique?

36cm, i am not going slower bc i dont want to use low sens anymore, my pb is on 47cm so im trying to reach that
If you’re hard set on staying at this sens you got a lot of work ahead of you
Run some ‘VT Micro 3 Sphere’
Do not lock your fingers to use your arm or wrist
Prioritize using the fingers to move the mouse as much as possible
yeahh i tried this but im so unstable i guess ill just have to play more with this grip
You don’t need my grip
As long as your fingers can move the mouse vertically and your thumb can handle horizontal movements you’re good
Focus less on what my grip looks like focus more on the task that needs doing
This is the essence of mouse control
Whatever grip lets you do the task comfortably is a good grip.
one more thing i noticed, may be of value
my wrist smoothness is terrible so i started working on that, eventho i main smoothness i only use my arm so i completely neglected my wrist
and then i think i have troubles with switching from flick into micro, bc look at this score where its only micros
i cant find it, is it in aimlab?
im on kvk
You’re doing it
This is the same scenario.
its very small
yeah i played this a lot
and i think my problem is the transition between flick and micro
bc i think my score on this is really good with 177
Part of your problem is that your sensitivity js very high
So micros are just physically very demanding
The higher your sens the more precise your fingers have to be
You can play on that sens but I am just telling you it’s going to be a few hundred hours of grinding precision out
Use this scenario, and do it with your fingers like I show in my video
Warm up every static session with this.
Strict bard pill, finish one run and do not do the rest of your routine until you finish a full 60 seconds with 3 misses or less
If it seems impossible…consider lowering your sens to find a sensitivity that lets you do that.
You can either grind it out until it gets better
Or turn down sens and use a sens you can actually control, then turn it back up over time as you improve
bardpill 1w5ts or micros?
or everything
Rawmousecontrol reload
Run the rest of the vdim static playlist however you want
But your accuracy on the micro drill was 86%
i can do that however i get like 160 score so do i just push that
few 100 to get to where?
…stop caring about score in the drill designed to warm up your fingers for accurate micros
A higher level of aim
Your score improving will come from more consistent and faster micro corrections, and fast and accurate flicks
Both of those tasks are really tough at sensitivities faster than 40cm
thank you! so youd say my main bottleneck in my vod was slow micros?
If you only want to train fast sens that’s fine, just expect improvement to look like a 1% gain in performance
Your micros are actually great
You’re on a sens you struggle to control (because that is fast as shit)
continue to work hard at micros
They must be phenomenal and your mouse control has to be wicked to function at these speeds.
my friend plays 20cm glass and gets 1350 on 1w6ts idk how he does it
Only person you’re competing with is the version of yourself from yesterday
Unless you’re a pro and getting paid
Then yeah you might need to give a shit about that.
so what aspect of static do i prioritize now?
ill obviously play everything
but what needs the most work in ur opinion
A mature static technique blends the arm, wrist, and fingers seamlessly
Your technique is pretty good you just need to micro faster
Part of that is continuing to refine your flick accuracy and speed
Part of that is putting more hours into finger specific mouse control
what about my initial flicks? i feel like theyre really bad and inaccurate
Your flicks are pretty great actually, you’re just running 36cm.
I’m gonna keep saying it lol
okay question
speaking about improvement alone and not score, do i improve faster on static if i stay on the harder sens or faster on slower
if my goal is to be able to play both fast and slow sens so true mouse control
i feel like playing on high sens can lead to faster improvement bc its harder?
That’s a great question
Harder difficulties can stimulate growth
But if you only train on hard mode
Your growth is gonna look reaaaaallly small.
Treating structure and smaller goals helps create more distinct points of improvement you can use as landmarks.
i see thank you a lot
Some people love looking at the top of where they can go wow cool
Some ppl get intimidated by the prospect of the sheer climb
And benefit really well from compartmentalization
Think about league of legends and its rank system plastered on top of a standard MMR ladder.
thanks so much for ur help i was getting so frustrated bc im hardstuck but this talk made me realize i just have a lot to work on and how i almost matched my pb of 1200 which was on 47cm, so im just gonna keep improving and eventually it will all come into place and lead to a bigger score
yeah thank u!
