I wanna get a new mousepad, I don't really have a flicky playstyle but my main issue is micro corrections what would you recommend?
I dont really care about speed that much just something to micro adjust and preferably a bit on the cheaper side but I can get it even if it's expensive just prefer cheaper as an alternative not a must

Welcome to the Mousepad Mastersheet!
I'm sure many of you are frequent viewers and know your way around but I wanted to make a quick read-me for new viewers.
To find a specific sheet of data, just click one of the sheets at the bottom of the screen.
Speed Chart is the performance sheet,...
From what your saying i think medium or quick would be the best choices for you (ive currently got the Artisan Raiden (mid) and its a bit too fast for my taste)
Viscose has a mousepad sheet somewhere
for easier microadjustments u want something with lower static friction than what u have now
what r u using atm?
a cheap one from shein so really anything is an upgrade from what I have
It looks pretty hard tho seeing there isn’t any glide
the list looks good but my main issue is it doesn't recommend me to what speed my mousepad should be, I don't know whether faster or slower is better for micro adjustments
In my eyes "fast" has so little static friction that it becomes a bit tricky to microadjust as there's so little stopping power that I just overadjust
So quick and medium should have low enough friction that it's easy to microadjust, without being so fast that you overadjust
honestly its very hard to give a recommendatio
with only this mousepad to go off of im not sure what ull end up liking haha
the safe option is the artisan zero
its rly good, lasts a long time, i dont rly know anyone who actively hates it
since ur looking cheap, the puretrak cl1 might be worth a shout?
another one that come to mind are the inkedgaming pad, but again i dont rly have much to go off for info sry haha
What about speed I mainly play valorant and my micro adjustments are really horrible so you reckon I start off with a controlled pad? Or is that purely preference aswell because I imagine certain speeds favoring specific aim category’s
this is a bit hard to say but there are two schools of thought here
some prefer slower pads since its easier to be stable on them when holding angles
some prefer faster pads bc it promotes more freedom of movement
it gets a bit more in depth when u consider static and dynamic friction but thats the core idea
at the moment tho ur pad is slower than the slowest used by comp players LOL so anything is gonna be a lot faster to u
the easier it is to make intentional movements, the easier it also is to make unintentional movements
alright you've been a huge help sorry for the mass questions, this is the last one
you reckon this is a safe option then? https://www.amazon.com/ARTISAN-Zero-Black-FX-ZR-MD-S-Japan/dp/B07FBGGSJL/ref=sr_1_9?sr=8-9
and its medium speed iirc right?
its better to get it from the site
cheaper
this ones also rly small
i consider it basically right in the middle of everything
but it will feel quite fast for u, especially before it breaks in
