Please give tips on what I can do to improve my reactive tracking, I struggle with it heavy.

crimson burrow
#

this scenario is way to hard for u

#

need an easier one

#

and like u have the right idea

#

just ur not ready for a bot this small yet

#

ur readjustments are too slow

ancient wagon
#

I do the voltaic reactive playlist intermediate I think? so thats just one of the tasks in the playlist

#

any recommendations for lower level playlists then?

stray leaf
#

its funny but you focus too much on smoothness, you are really smooth but you lack off reaction when you focus too much on smoothness, try to not focus on smoothnes and be reactive. Focus on predicting the bot movement and track him and do that all smooth without thinking about it.

crimson burrow
#

yeah like smooth technique is there

ancient wagon
stray leaf
#

lemme record a vod real quick

ancient wagon
#

ok

crimson burrow
#

but ur readjustments need to be quicker, notice how ur tracking the bot at the same speed just not on the bot

ancient wagon
crimson burrow
#

dont entirely abandom smoothness

#

u just need to accelerate into the both then slow it back down

#

to the reg speed

ancient wagon
#

ok that makes sense

#

should I try easier reactive scenarios?

#

to build that skill?

crimson burrow
#

if its too hard then just try smth easier to get ur technique down pat

#

not too easy though

#

u still want a challenge

ancient wagon
#

ok, ill keep that in mind

#

so i mainly need to get better at my readjustments onto the target

#

while still being smooth

crimson burrow
#

also

#

just to let you know

#

higher sens will help u get higher score
so if u can control higher sens and u wanna do a better score u can

#

depends on ur goals though

ancient wagon
#

well I just want to get better aim so,

#

are u saying like

#

higher sens will make the difficulty higher?

#

and like translate into higher scores if i can control

#

higher sens?

crimson burrow
#

well different sensitivities are very important to improvement

crimson burrow
ancient wagon
#

but i used to play tracking scenarios

#

on like

#

35/30 cm

crimson burrow
#

it helps u train different aspects

stray leaf
#

fk man i played and it didnt reacord haha

crimson burrow
#

f

ancient wagon
crimson burrow
#

hold up

ancient wagon
#

a rule of t humb for each sens i should have on different types of aim

ancient wagon
crimson burrow
#

so like

#

theres not a golden rule or anything but

#

generally u want more wrist and fingers in ur sens for tracking, static more arm, and switching in the middle

#

so on tracking i use 30-40
static 75-90
and switching like 60-75

#

that doesnt mean u have to use those exact numbers but to get an idea

ancient wagon
#

holy ive never even went close to 75-90 ๐Ÿ˜ญ

crimson burrow
#

getting good arm control for static is IMPORTANT

#

asf

ancient wagon
#

at static

#

way better at tracking and switching

#

than i am static

crimson burrow
#

i cant really give tips on those thing bc im still silver on em but im almost jade on this pill track scen

#

so i just thought id pop in the convo

ancient wagon
#

no by all means i rlly appreciate the help

#

i have just been struggling on reactive for a while and

#

ive tried to implement

#

the proper technique

#

but i didnt seem to be improving

crimson burrow
#

ima grab a vod of this scen for u hol on

ancient wagon
#

ok

stray leaf
#

ahhhhh i suck

#

i cant get this one clean

#

but its really hard actually

ancient wagon
stray leaf
#

you need movement reading in this

ancient wagon
crimson burrow
#

think of like not predicting, but expecting the movement change

#

so ur ready

#

when it happens

ancient wagon
#

ok

#

never thought of it like that

stray leaf
#

its like both

crimson burrow
#

so thats where i learned it

stray leaf
#

like i said really hard ๐Ÿ˜›

ancient wagon
ancient wagon
crimson burrow
#

i mean

#

to an extent

#

but i meant like

#

when someone is strafing at me

#

i wait for the direction change so i can flick to their head

stray leaf
#

guyyyyyyyyyyyys

ancient wagon
#

ohhh

stray leaf
#

i didnt record 2nd time

#

wtfff

#

im cooked

ancient wagon
#

are u using

#

shadow play?

stray leaf
#

yep

ancient wagon
#

thats what i used to clip

crimson burrow
#

i cant get mine to work either

ancient wagon
#

u ahve to set it to

#

set it to desktop capture

#

it wont clip other wise

stray leaf
#

it doesnt record koovaks for some reason

crimson burrow
#

windowed fullscreen maybe?

ancient wagon
#

idk about recording

#

i clipped

#

but if u set to desktop capture itll clip it for u

#

since its doing the whole screen

#

with instant replay

stray leaf
#

i cant save anything

#

i restart pc real quick

ancient wagon
#

ok

stray leaf
#

so be carefull because my own biggest weakness is smoothness, but it might show how smoothness in theese type of szenarios sould be applyed

ancient wagon
#

thank you this is a really good reference

#

Also one last question for both of you, when im in game should i hyper focus on my aim? Or should i auto pilot my aim and focus on other aspects, if so what do I focus on specifically like with my aim @stray leaf @crimson burrow

stray leaf
ancient wagon
#

When in like apex i feel overwhelmed i just start panicking

#

So hard to remain calm idk how to combat it

stray leaf
#

jeah its a big thing you can practice in aim trainers. also if you play any szenario try to use the least amount of tension you can whil also pushing your speed as fast as you can. thats called tension menagement and it helps a lot with calm aim

ancient wagon
#

Ok ill also keep that in mind tysm

stray leaf
#

no worries .)

ancient wagon
#

just tried to apply your guys tips rq on a run and this is the vod

#

@stray leaf @crimson burrow

#

i also upped my sens to 30 cm/360 to up the difficulty and get better mouse control

#

over time

stray leaf
#

vod looks wayyy better to me. Try to practice like this and you will be goated ๐Ÿ™‚ also if you are comfident with this you can bring your wrist into the tracking while doing the same with the arm to hit some better scores ๐Ÿ™‚

ancient wagon
#

like try to implement my wrist more?

stray leaf
#

jeah

#

like if you need to react you can do the smooth tracking part with your arm and flick to the target with the wrist

#

so you get faster corrections. But first get comfedent like this.

ancient wagon
#

ok! thank you for all your help ๐Ÿ˜„

ancient wagon
#

Build my mouse control faster

crimson burrow
#

yar

ancient wagon
#

@crimson burrow what sens should I use for dynamic?

#

can i still use 75-90 cm/360?

crimson burrow
ancient wagon
# crimson burrow

ye thats what i been using these for, i upped my sens to 25 cm/360 for reactive and smoothness tracking to make it harder

#

and im about to do dynamic so i was wondering what i should use for dynamic

crimson burrow

ye i just do the voltaic playlists, i think they have the benchmarks in them

#

but ye ill probably start doing them every week
