I recently started aim training and noticed I have issues with static clicking. On other benchmarks I reached gold fairly easily, but static clicking and target switching have been somewhat difficult to get decent scores. I looked at a few other posts regarding similar issues and tried to implement some of the advise given there, but I'm unsure if my technique is right. I play on around 70cm/360.

your click timing is pretty good for a novice player, but your flick technique could use some work. your flicks look incredibly shaky, especially for someone using 70 cm/360. im gonna guess you're probably tensing too much. try to relax your hand and arm, draw straight, smooth lines from target to target. your movements are also incredibly slow most of the time and fast sometimes. try to have a more consistent, faster flick speed. you can try watching VT Lorys yt video on flicking. i think once you work on flicks you can start working on other aspects of static clicking, such as hitting bursts of small initial flicks on clusters of targets in quick progression.
yeah u implementing the technique right just do everything 2 times faster
I think you might be right on the tension thing. I noticed I was definitely tensing up to much to achieve quicker flicks. I'll try to relax my arm a bit more and get more consistent aim before focusing on speed.
I tried to focus on using less tension and keeping a somewhat consistent speed across all distances in this run. I don't think my technique is quite there yet, but I think this is a slight improvement.
definitely looks a lot better. just keep working on consistency in your flicks, and try having a more steady change in speed (sometimes it looks like your flick slows down in the middle, ideally you want to slow down towards the end as you approach the target). also try to build up confidence in your ability to perform small smooth motions onto the target. will help reduce the time it takes for you to perform a microcorrection onto a target and will help you hit clusters of targets rapidly. some of the bots are incredibly close together, and you take way too long to eliminate them.
Alright, I'll keep on practising. Thanks for all the advice and feedback on my vods.
y looks better. if u do all of this 2x faster ull get good scores ezpz just practice
It is not about scores or pushing speed. It is about consistency.
Build proper technique fundamentals first before thinking about speed.
Another small improvement. I've been practising my consistency the past few days and I think it paid off. I don't overflick as much anymore and my speed is also a lot more consistent. I've also been focusing on not tensing my arm and wrist while playing. I also think my technique has gotten a lot better.
I also switched to a red crosshair, because I find that a bit easier to see against the white background.
Looking much better indeed! Just keep going ironing out all the things 🙂
