Hello guys. This is the first time i'm getting serious with this whole aim routine and practice world.

I used to play csgo at high elos like supreme and global elite but i never tried to practice or anything and i felt like i didnt need any of that.

Now after many years without playing any fps games i started valorant and it doesnt feel like csgo in terms of aim and movement.

I play in diamond/ascendant lobbies and i feel like my aim isn't that consistent as a result i lost my confidence in game and that makes me change sens every once in a while (plus my new mouse pad ruined everyhting for the moment)

What should i do first? Should i do the benchmark thing first and then move on to some playlists? i tried a few aimlabs playlists before but i cannot say that im an experienced user there. Sorry for asking all that but im totally new to this and i dont know where to start.

I would love to see your opinions and thank you very much for your time!

# sturdy field Hello guys. This is the first time i'm getting serious with this whole aim routi...

You indeed start with the benchmarks first, found in #resources . The benchmarks give you a visual overview of your strengths and weaknesses + an "aim rank". You use that to pick the appropriate playlist(s) for yourself.

For all-round aim training, you can either do the fundamentals routine (#resources) or VDIM routine: LG56's Daily Improvement Guide
KovaaKs: https://bit.ly/LG56VDIM
Aimlab: https://bit.ly/VDIMdoc

Which of the 2 you do is up to you. Fundamentals trains every aim aspect in 1 playlist and VDIM gives every category a seperate playlist. Do note that you don't have to follow the VDIM routine as it is layed out. If you feel like you want to focus on 1 specific thing more, you can use it as a "weakness specific"-playlist.

One important note however is the following: to properly work on mouse control you want to train + bench with different senses in different categories. The reason you do this is 1) you cannot force 1 sens into every category and 2) different senses train different aspects of your aim.

The general ranges are: 20-35cm for tracking training (smoothness) / 35-50cm for tracking benchmarking, 30-50cm/360 for dynamic and switching, and 40-80cm for static.

Given you are new, you can leave the sens-changing maybe for a few weeks until you are more accustomed to training, but it is best to pick it up as fast as possible.

could you explain a bit more the "cm" changes?

cm/360 is the amount of distance you move the mouse to do a 360.

30cm/360 is moving your mouse 30cm from left to right to do a 360. A lower cm/360 is a faster sens, a higher number is a slower sens.

You can use a sens-calculator like mouse-sensitivity.com to convert your current sens to cm/360, or you can tell me your sens + DPI + game and I will do it.

thank you so much for your fast reply. I wanted to ask you one more thing. Can the fundamental playlist be used on daily basis to improve generally my aim?

Let me rephrase it a bit:

If you are using aimlabs, you can find the benchmark portal in #resources for it: app.voltaic.gg

This portal has 2 benchmark sections: the "VOLTAIC" benchmarks, which is a benchmark sheet designed for your overall aim, and you also have the "Valorant" benchmarks, which are benchmarks meant for Valorant-aim training purely.

The Valorant benchmarks can be trained on given it is quite expansive, but the voltaic ones are not. For the voltaic ones you always want to use a seperate playlist.

If you do decide to do the valorant benches, do note that it doesn't cover every category, so after a while you might want to swap to a different one anyway to work on those weaknesses that the valorant-benches don't cover

30 mins - 2 hours of training per day is more than enough. 1 playlist can last you up to 1 hour on average, which again is more than enough training per day.

Thank you very much! If i have any further questions, should i reply here?
