I seem to only have good accuracy with low sens @karmic wyvern

#I have a problem where i can't use even medium sens

Yup. You are overemphasizing speed too much, while you are unable to control that.
Slow down on the flick speed, and instead of counter-tensing you want to let the mousepad do the braking for you.
Read the links and let yourself digest it
so basically,as matty(im not sure, but pretty sure it is matty on elige's video)that while raw speed is good, you need technique first and then speed
insane how some tac fps pros already have this down naturally
He flicks still quite hard, but you can see him clearly and smoothly decelerate. And his flick speed isn't even that overdone
yea makes sense,i thought i was already doing what they were showing and talking about\
In your case not. You are flicking too hard for your own good, and given you don't know how to control it, the only way of stopping that flick is by counter-tensing.
While you want to let your flick go over into a smooth deceleration which then effectively moves over into a micro correction more effortlessly
But as I said: take a peak through the 2 links of my progression thread and you will see quite a difference @unreal bison
does that mean i didn't pay attention to the matty's and lorys video enough or they just simplified it too much
well shit thank you,i be watching all those things u sent and be doing alot of statics for technique
Oh and disable the gunmodel. It is just unnecessary visual clutter
oh
btw,is it possible that im playing on something too low in aim trainer
to the point that i have to force my speed
nah probably not,im also forcing on 40cm lolol
40-80cm is the range for static. Pick something in there that feels comfortable to you and stick to it.
Focus on proper technique and don't focus on your scores. Scores will come. Technique comes first
To give you 1 very short example:
The red box was me doing this scenario in my old "snappy" way, where I was forcing my flicks too hard thinking I was too slow (scores from a week ago until yesterday before applying the better approach).
Everything in the yellow box is from yesterday + today with my slower/smoother approach
Proper technique > speed. My consistency got better, and now I will slowly work on my speed
Same story here: I had some peaks with my former style, but very inconsistent. And with "proper" approach I have a much better baseline
Red = 1 week ago until yesterday. Yellow = yesterday + today
oh lol, funny how that worked u also had the same problem very recently,i thought this was long ago
it makes sense now,why i always had a problem where my aim is worse after i aim trained
Nope. That discussion I linked you into in my thread is barely a week old, and yesterday something "clicked" for me and I am now working on it 🙂
because not aim training actually slowly made me lose the habit
Yeah that is why taking breaks is often important.
Not only let you allow yourself to "reset your mental" and your brain process things from all the stimulation that you have had (you can "overtrain" yourself. Monotony and what not), but you are also shaking off any bad habits that you have learned.
You are training, training training. Both in good and some bad ways. You take a break for a few days or so and let that "water down" a bit, and then you return a bit refreshed
Here another example
The first 3 scores in the yellow field is me with my proper technique. The last score in the red zone is me trying the "snappy" style I had before, and it kills my pacing so hard it plummeted my score.
And here with "proper" technique I am going up again
So as you can see from my very shitty-tests, speed is not just raw speed, speed is also consistency
so the reason why im good at low sens is that,it hides my mistakes
Static is mostly technique based, but yes, a very slow sens can indeed hide weaknesses.
But static that only goes so far...
Hence why for example people who are very shaky use slow sens as a crutch, cause it "hides" their shakinesss
but then whats the story behind minigod
im always so confused about how he got speed for sens that are that low
and hes not using it as a crutch
Just practise lol
His flicking technique is good + he just aim trains a lot on different senses so he is accustomed to all of it
i mean,200cm is a bit much isn't it?
It is lol but I am sure he did some of it simply for trolls
