been playing hard benches for a year now and I have never gotten any better and still not at the first rank. I do everything most people have told me to do. I do the basic stuff like have good health and all that. I have been around the same rank and scores for a whole year I burnt out around 4 months ago because i had not gotten anywhere for a whole year. I cant just play more to get any better so idk what to do at this point. I do focus hard and recently been using a sens randomizer and just feel stuck again like i was before

I used to play each task for 3 hours and i would space sessions out i did this method for a year with many variations, like i used to do 6 sessions instead of 3 and yeah still stuck idk what to do
Show intermediate and advanced bench sheet please
If I understand your question well, it sounds like that you are "training" by only grinding the benchmarks.
That is your issue right here. The benchmarks are not meant for aim training, due the incredible lack of variety.
The benchmarks only scrape the bottom of the barrel in terms of things you can train, thus there are still likely a lot of issues left untouched that the benchmark-tasks don't really pinpoint well.
And as ksyyZ said: show use how your intermediate sheet looks like. If you aren't even master or at least jade-rank, then you have been playing scenarios that are significantly too difficult for you.
Oh I'm in ra benches, I came here cuz idk the advice I got was basically what I was doing before
Send me them in private then
Idk if its allowed or not here
We can continue from there
U should do the voltaic benchmarks im interested now
I'm not a professional in aiming (currently I'm Jade), but from what I think, every person would have a "cap" of their skill level, limited by physical abilities of body and brain.
Meaning, if you loose focus easily and you've been like that your whole life, unlikely it will change, unless you're still below your 20s
Same with shaky hands, some people just have those from childhood, and that might make a huge impact on their skills.
Same with reaction time too. If you have >=200ms that seem to limit your ability severely.
IMO universally highest achievable rank for everyone (with some unholy grind) would be about Master in Voltaic and Valour in rA (if that's their equivalent), past that I doubt the majority of people would be able to achieve
that is a cope
Maybe, but the numbers speak for themselves.
For example, 100k in Gridshot (which most Masters/Grandmasters seem to have) requires around 207ms reaction time (based on Aimlabs leaderboard). If you have 200ms reaction time, this leaves you with 7ms to move and click, which is simply impossible.
Every body characteristic is not fixable too, like shaky hands for some is a permanent medical condition, hardly you can call that cope.
how many targets are there at once on gridshot?
With the most ideal RNG, 3 out of 3 are clustered together, but that will not happen more than say 5-10% of spawnwawes in the best runs.
But then it's RNG, hoping/grinding for the best RNG is hardly what I'd call "skill"
People just quit mid journey
Thats what the numbers “mean”
Gm isnt that hard
Improvement just slows down
Im not saying genetics is a non factor, im sayin people can keep improving way more than they think
True, but improvements slow down for everyone, even people with good reflexes and abilities, which make it substantially harder for majority of people to reach, say, Grandmaster.
Quitting mid journey something as insignificant as aim training (if this isn't your major thing in life) if it requires hours of training a day for a year or more is understandable for me when you're in your 20s or 30s
Sure, didnt say its the most important thing in life
But the concept applies to important things aswell
With that being said, I'm a persistent c*nt and I'll try to reach GM, but there's an honest realization in the back of my head that it may not be possible
Nah u know how many times i got mad in my journey
“This is impossible jade is my “limit”
Master is my limit
i CANT
But i can, and i did
Its just mental
That's why I'll keep trying for now.
I've spent only 140 hours into aim training with barely any mnk experience (I'm a console player, switched to PC in October).
I've read that it usually takes about 500 hours til Grandmaster, so I'm not yet done with it.
Ay glhf then
wtf r u talking abt
ok so if theres 3 targeta on acreen at the same time and everytime u kill a target a new one spawns u see it takes 621ms reaction time to react to new targets spawning
more than doable
You just need to persist on. There are tons of people in here who believe they have hit their "cap", only to push through it eventually.
Facing a wall can happen anywhere in your journey, and with proper perseverance and maybe some changes in your routine you can overcome it.
what should i do for aim training then
Fundamentals routine (#resources) Or the VDIM routine.
Like I said, the benchmarks are not made for training so who ever told you that has given you wrong information.
