got more consistent with higher scores (for me) but something still feels off with my static
@covert bramble
thank you
np
damn ok
i thought that was the problem as well tbf
i kinda was "scared" to go faster cause of accuracy
ok ok
do you think i should carry on working on static or should i try dynamic now?
my dynamic is horrid
Don't stop completely on static but keep going how u feel :)
play dynamic all you like
Did my benchmark again, these were all the notable tasks, improved a little all around i think, but struggle alot with switching
speed witching mostly but not bad i think
cause i understand tension control a bit more, ima do a mixture of all three and see how it goes
gonna try to 100% gold at the end of the week
kept with static still for a bit to increase speed but something still feels off but idk what
you have tracking the bot syndrome
Hope this helps explain the thought process behind Pasu runs. It's hard to recognize the strategy that goes into playing Kovaak's because so many people seem to isolate the skill of aiming from game knowledge and tactics. The truth is that Kovaak is its own video game, not serving as just a tool or supplement to improve at others, but also as a ...
ur not actually stopping ur initial flick to micro
making ur micros so slow
You mean im making my micros during the slowdown part of the flick?
yeah ur not stopping fast enough and ur micros are slow
thas whats holding u back
Ok ok
So i gotta practice stopping faster and closer to the target?
And making my micros faster
yeah ur flicks are a bit far out
and yeah
TRUST UR MICRO
trust it
just
do it
Ok ok
you think i should trust my aim a bit more?
yes
i find myself still tensing up when im doing flicks of reaction in actuall games
does that just come with time
You have to focus on it in game too but yeah it’ll come
You’ve still got old muscle memory
that you’ve gotta override
alr
If you do it consciously you’ll be set
alr alr
its the tense moments i struggle with, like when an enemy pops outta nowhere
It’s common to be tense
But
If you watch someone like suygetsu
Instead it like
Of*
Tenz
You’ll see how calm they aim when an enemy peeks far from their crosshair
You can kinda go both ways and be really flicky like tenz or be like suygetsu but suygetsus way will always be so much more consistent in most scenarios
alr
ill try to be less tense but i already know it'll take ALOT of work to overide it in suprising situations
either i had my life game or i got the hang of it already, aimed like a demon
That’s okay as long as you’re trying
lmaoo
remember
Your life game now
will be a bad game compared to you in the future
🫶🫶
this better?
yeaa
i think i should stop reviewing u for a little bit
if u have qs go for it
but
i dont think h eneed vods reviewed every day
u need*
you can keep going and grinding
etc
true, ill tone it down defo
Your improvement will be like minuscule so it’ll be hard for me to comment or anything u need to do since ur major mistakes are ironed out
Beat a PB i was going for, only by a little but beat it anyway
❤️
did it again
should i also have low tension in dynamic or should i apply a bit more?
Got a pb and broke 900
i felt my aim stagnate a bit today, i got the pb but it didnt feel "good", idk
maybye too much tension or smth but the grind continues
W pb
Been doing some dynamic as well but im struggling ngl
ive managed to stop tracking the bots as often though
looks solid
in reflex u can be smoother
join the motions together a bit more
rather than be so rigid
yh i noticed that i tend to do like 2 flicks instead of one full motion
thats fine with normal static
but
in normal static it shouyld be more fluid than that
but reflex
u kinda wanna go
fast
ok ok
gotta work on my stability aswell, but im laying a solid foundation with static rn i think
Controlling my tension is like a whole new world to me, so i tend to revert back to old habits quite often but im getting there 💯
i live for the grind
another pb
W rizz
w rizz
Anyone know an easier way to find my post here?
Instead of searching it up
If there is one
favourite ur post
How? I cant see the option mb
or follow it?
if u right click it
it says
favourite
or
follow
or
smthn lke that
Use a bigger crosshair, will help you confirm your target
You're monkey clicking so much
and following target too much
alr
A bigger crosshair defo helped and also the vid you sent me a while back
W
huge
Crazy progress today
Insane progress
Ayee good shit my boy
Damn
Ty 🙏
u should be proud that ur in top 200 all time tracking
Ty bro ❤️
I still have a wierd habit of flicking, then microflicking in the oposite direction to stop my momemntum
But it onmy shows ingame and not really when training
new pb in tracking, not much better but im improving
read the bot more rather than focus on crosshair
looks like ur too focused on crosshair and keep over adjusting
let the motions come
as u read
ok
my static feels a little stagnant but its consitent so its fine
whenever you got time
one of my better recent runs
just lmk if there are any underlying problems there or if i just need to practice more to iron out any mistakes
yeah I can gimme a min
Actually looks very nice atm, just gotta keep getting more fluid with the motions and getting better at those clusters
ok ty
looks so much better than when i first reviewed you
don't forget how far uve come
Fr ❤️
my aim ingame rn isnt that good so i was just wondering, probs just a bad day
new static score
Looks amazing to me, technique wise
im so happy ngl 🥲
i think the middle portions show good technique
idk tho
practice underflicking a little more
Right now youre still overflicking a decent amount
control your initial flick more
ok
in terms of ubderflicking more?
and any tips on how to underflick more? i cant seem to get the hang of it
my aim ingame is nice rn tho so thats good
best attemp recently, tried to underflick more but i i kept using too much tension i think
idk if its correct technique or no but i tried
i like
Ok
Much better, i agree with anima now you can push speed of your initial flick and micro
im tryna work on my initial flick, making sure i underflickl
pushing speed is hard tho
pb
when i push speed either i start overflicking again or my accuracy drops crazily
yea
that's gonna happen
just dont go below
85
try and aim for a speed tha gets u
85%
ok
i underflicked alot here i think which is good progress
i really gotta work on my dynamic tho, its in shambles lmao
top speed i can reach atm
reflex was just tryna smooth out my technique
the top speed is the second vid
do you think reflex will be good for pushing speed?
did reflex b4 the pb so im assuming it does
damn WP
Goat fr
built diff ong
dw, my quality is usually worse 💀
actually crazy tho
It’s cuz I downloaded it to my phone
I missed a ton lol
Aw
your gonna be my static reference from now on
im probs gonna focus on dynamic for a bit tho cause ngl its crazy 💀
at a low speed my accuracy averages 60-70% bro i gotta fix that asap
as i say that, got a pb
😭 my micros are mid asf
You are sorta still following a bit too much
go to where it’s gonna be, then micro
bro my micros are ass
probably what i struggle with the most
It is what it is
Play some micro based playlists
Tragedy+ might have them on his Twitter
Not sure for Simla
Aimlab**
ill try to look for some
but for now my, dynamic gotta take priority i think
ill find a micro playlist
and do the full vt dynamic plus that for my daily routine
with extra dynamic and static on the side if i feel like it
i pretty much only play val so for now i can put tracking on the bench, and touch up on it a lil bit when i feel like it
ima look for a playlist now
ok ok
Try vt popshot
And try to predict where they’re gonna land
If the normal one is too hard try novice
ok
would you happen to know a playlist or some different tasks which focus on microflicking?
Not really I just do the Val benchmark and minigods playlists
And some tasks where I’m weak at
ok
Yes
bet
def can hit diamond on the benchmark
ty for the encouragement
my dynamic improved drastically already
micros are still ass tho 🥲
making me more consitent tho
did good during my warmup whihc is nice
no pbs tho but i got most of my dynamic pbs on my life runs
on my main dynamic task, i have a pb of like 850 but before today i averaged like 400 on that task
Quick question, Would you say its better to aim with your arm rested on your desk or with it lifted off?
^
Ty
any tips?, ive completed gold for everything but switching
Good shit
ok first put your FOV at 107 if it isn’t already
Second, when there’s no targets on your screen and you’re just ‘gambling’
just FLICK
mostly your issue is speed ngl
you gotta just keep being stable
It wasnt ill change it
All my switching tasks are the only silvers i still have
So close yet so far to completing gold
Tbf before today i had like 1700 on sphereswitch and 2000 on sky
i try to increase it but i just dont idk
1 down
alot of the time when i try to speed up as well, i start tensing my arm
idk how to stop that habit
SO CLOSE
It is quite late and im very tired so i doubt these are accurate but my new val benchmarks for now
All this progress in just over a month is crazy and its all thanks to you guys
Anima you're an Angel fr
An actual goat
u hit ascendant on one task already?
df
I have yet to complete platinum and ur already about to get diamond
Idk how either, especially as i would say my micros are my worst category
Youll get plat for sure, easily bro
Mine is quite scattered, ima try actually complete plat within the week
Whats your guys oppinions on mouse acceleration?
I got it I just can’t complete it
Been trying to complete it for a month
U don’t need it
i meant get it completed mb
i guarentee you have the skill to complete but just havent yet
the only thing holding me back from getting gold completed yesterday was my mental, so just keep on pushing and you got that easily
but it aint bro
the more you think you cant do it, the more you'll fall behind
i defo get you on that, being stuck on silver hurt my pride a lil 💀
but all i had to do was try again and again untill i got it
i knew that my aim was good enough to get gold but the only thing holding me back was my mental
oh i guess u were right
had 1 task that i couldnt beat but i finally managed to complete it
thats what im saying
congrats bro
Thanks bro
Crazy how switching was my best score
i kinda rushed things cause it was really long
didnt do all 5 for each task
My speed is the biggest problem rn i think
verytime i try to speed up i start tensing my arm
so i need to break that habit
still gotta work on my micros aswell
and start practicing my tracking
my speed was ok here and i dint tense too much so it was good
but i overflicked alot
but the progress is insane already
Im tryna figure out a way to effectively practice flick control so i can underflick more consistently
I think i can get diamond on the val benchmarks today even
If i try hard enough
And practice my micros
Only thing holding me back is speed so once i figure that out ima improve drastically
imma try to hit it too
but def not in a day
@onyx sky btw i was told dont use benchmarks to improve
use #resources
i guess its meant to be taken weekly
ok ty
ive been mainly using the weakneess specific tasks
and any tasks i find helpful in the benchmarks, like osme of the microflick and such
i would reccomend the weakness specific tasks
and honestly, figure out what tasks are most helpful to you and use them i would say
got asc for a task
ima leave the benchmarks for now tho
didnt overflick too much here, did start tensing tho as i picked up some speed but i was able to stop myself
just changed my mouse grip a lil cause i wanted to see if i can give myself a bit more control
so far the improvement seems crazy ingame
itll take a lil to get used to ensure but when i do its gonna be carzy
I used to rest my palm and my 2 fingers on my mouse and have the other 3 kinda like a claw, but i today i wanted to try also lifing my two fingers off my mouse to see how it feels
So only the bottom of my palm is resting on the mouse
Its taking a little time to get used to, also i have a g pro and theres like a gap between the bottom and the rest of the mouse and my pinky keeps pressing against the gap so it kinda hurts
But im sure overtime ill get used to it
But today i was aiming better than ususal in game so im sure itll be worth
Your grip shouldn’t hurt. Don’t force yourself to use a grip that doesn’t feel natural to you
ik ik, but its not really my grip and more my mouse
ive positioned my pinky in a better spot today as well
ty tho
My aim feels a lil loose but im sure ill get used to it
my aim feels wierd
i cant switch back to my old grip cause it feels unnatural but the new one does too
ive beaten pbs with the new grip but it feels wierd
sometimes it feels stable and sometimes it dosent
ima just practice and see how it goes
in game it is crazy
insanely good
i think its a tension thing
Do you think i would have more controll resting my pointer and middle fingers on top of my mouse or only my fingertips making contact?
and if anyone sees this and has time, can you let me know if there are any major differences to my gameplay, the first is my new grip and second is my old
Im tryna figure out why i play so good ingame with the new grip but so bad when aim training
Ive been gradually speeding up in my static but my dynamic is the main problem with the new grip
Looking nicer 😁
havent seen this much progress in a while
just gotta push speed and stop tensing up
and underflic a lil more
Ive been consitebtly playing a sens of around 41cm, would you say its worth practicing with a random sens when aim training?
random sens? no
but
a higher sens can improve your general control
lower can improve your speed and probably
confirmations
too
since its easier to confirm
how long do u ya think y’all need to grind to reach celestial
I think i can hit Master by the end of the year or earlier
Ive been working on valorant specifically for a while and ive gone from silver/gold to diamond in a little over a month
With some tasks in ascendant
So with that progress i can probs hit radiant/immortal (in benchmarks) in another month or 2 if i grind enough
And hopefully those skills will translate and i can work on whatever im lacking in to get Master
Celestial specifically i cant tell
Whenever i get Master, and how hard it was will give me a better idea
the thing is there are like 3 players that have celestial complete if I’m not completely dumb
easily
Yh, its gonna be tough fr but ima get it for sure
It'll take years i think tho
Again i can only tell whenever i hit master
Do you know how i can get the gold completed role?
Ty 🤜🤛
🙏
how much will my mouse mat affect me at this stage?
what u using
at the end of the day, mousepad is all about consistency
doesnt matter what the surface is
if it is consistent
and you are comfortable on it
use whatever u want
fair enough
you dont want a pad that doesnt glide the same all over
i think mine is consitent at first glance
but i feel sometimes i glide too far like without expecting it
i think maybe i should clean it or smth
or ill get a new one eventually
i dont think its necassarily holding me back yet so ima leave it for now
doing some tracking for stability
my mouse control feels wierd rn tho
feels kinda loose idk
aim training really made me realise how insane people like Matty are
Even you Anima like this shit is hard and your out here hitting master and shit
@onyx sky Valorant benchmarks (Aimlabs) are meant to be used as training as well
oh ok ty
hahah it took me time too my brother
You’ve not been doing this too long
fair enough
the grind continues
im tryna finish up plat for aimlabs
tracking is hard tho, i find myself at the end of my mousespace often
even though my sens isnt that low#
i wanna higher it but my stability and control is already so bad i dont want to make it even worse
ive discovered that the Kovaaks benchmarks are much harder than the aimlabs
that or i got worse
im cooked
guess im aiming for gold instaed of dia today
clocked in like 4 hours on kovaaks
only half of that was productive tho
gotta be more efficient
gonna complete plat later today or tmrw
and then go for dia
ima play some terraria now tho
goated game
idk why but kovaaks just feels better
anyone got any good pasu playlists?
Just search on kovaaks.com
nvm ur playing only aimlabs right?
Nah i switched
Only to do val benchmarks
Or other benchmarks
changed my sens to 39 cm
from 41
working towards dia ondynamic
then ima do static tmrw
then work on tracking for the rest fo the week
still ass at bounceshot 😦
but
Could you try smoothing the landings a bit? It feels like your not controlling anything other than clicking when on target (given by the shaky aim)
This makes me think you have inconsistent scores because of technique, point out if I'm wrong
You're completely correct
But ive fixed that already
I was trying to get dia on bounce and that was holding me back
But now i get like 630-670 pretty consistently
Still gotta practise tho
Ah I see, glad it worked
would you consider this smoother?
different scen tho
im a little more consitent, i thought i could stay within the 630 to 670 range but more the 600+ range
nvm still inconsistent
im tryna smooth out my aim but i lose alot of speed
makes me shaky
pain
Smoothen your speed, but with a base speed higher
I know you can go faster, keep the speed but smoothen your landings
- Bounce Dynamic scenarios are about target prioritization, meaning target the targets that are at its peak
wdym by landings
like my micros or the end of my initial flick
not a pb but progress i would think
accuracy was meh but i wasnt too shaky
pb
diamond
when your close to your target
Tysm for the help bro, appreciate it
Took a break
All good
break has finished
u got it homie
chaged sens to 40
cm
nice round number
fits into most aim types
kinda high for static but its ok
Nuh uh, don't force yourself to have 1 sens
Training should be done with different senses
Lower sens benefits static because it develops and targets specific zones which is needed for static.
We can use IRL examples, we use different kind of exercises to target different zones in out body, we can't train everything like your upper body (arm strength) with pushups but with bad technique by focussing on your legs
My old message which is clearer :
Training doesn't necessarily correlate to in game sens, think of it as different equipment inside the gym, where u train different asppects of ur body. It's same here, you should follow the general sens when it comes to training your aim
True
I c
I know that changing you're meant to change your sens per task but i thoight it wouldnt matter unless im pushing scores
Im using a high sens cause mouse controll is my biggest weakness so im tryna cover that
But if i feel like im being held back ill change
Off topic but great analogy bro
looks like ive been holdin myself back
i get anxious when i put really low tension and i finally figured that out and have started to do so
and im aiming better
just gotta get used to it and practice
improvement is insane
already
ingame
and got a pb in static
consistency is improving as well
im tryna get consistent plat scores on 1w5ts
did not go well at all
im getting dia static rn
fr
consistency is better
getting scores ranging from around 960 to 1030
big range but high enough
so that its not too bad
on 1w5ts
Do you use the vdim daily playlists?
no
dk what that is
VDIM's playlists are basically instead of focusing 6 subcategories into 1 playlist (Fundamentals covers everything not too in depth but it's decent) you focus on 1 subcategory per day with the same length or more as fundamentals
Since you’re struggling on tracking I suggest emphasizing precise tracking once a week. It overlaps into many other scenarios you’ll come across. This is a good starting point and will help you see EXACTLY where you’re struggling so you can better build off of it
Fundamentals -> A bit of each
VDIM -> targets 1 subcategory for the day, has the benchmark tasks in them, so dw about opening benchmark playlist
Couldn’t have explained it better myself
Personally vdim has helped me manage aim training and has helped me continuously improve at a rapid rate. I understand everyone’s different but please give it a chance!
It does matter, you could try a high sens from WITHIN the recommended range or slightly higher.
Tracking -> 20-40cm
Tracking benching -> 30-50cm
General benching -> The sens that gives best scores
Dynamic clicking and Tracking -> 30-50cm
Static Clicking -> 40-80cm
oh damn ty
you are both goats
ill play around with it and see what fits me best
ill probably keep 40 for dynamic and tracking but go to like 60 maybe for static, ima go with 53
Keep in mind, if your goal is to improve it begins with you understanding that aiming is literally just controlling your mouse. Ik it sounds obvious BUT If you raise your sensitivity higher than you usually would, you now incorporate the flaws in your aim that you don’t notice due to a low sens filtering out your minor mistakes. Mastering a higher sens allows a greater yield of improvement than if you mastered a lower sens. In summary a higher sens will always allow you to play on a lower sens with better results due to just being able to control the mouse better, the same effects do not apply vice versa in most scenarios tho
Just food for thought
thats the mindset i had as, and thats why i stuck with 40cm for everything
which i would say is on the higher end
but from what ive learned, changing your sens per category allows you to train different muscles and technique more effectively
Try 25-30 for tracking,m for a week, everything else doesn’t have to be nearly as high
idk tho
That’s true
im thinking 30 for tracking
40 dynamic
60 static
or 50 for static im still deciding
i want it to make enough of a difference whilst also being considered high
maybe 55 idk
since thats my perfered
The higher sens will always yield better results over the long run, I know you can do this
50 static
ok
You got this man
i hate pokeball
Bardpill
Awesome! Did the new sens help at all?
yep
im doing the VDIM
and got this
we up
Your flicks are very smooth as is, I can see your micro adjustments need slight work though, but your initial flicks are nearly on point! If you were to try to improve more micro adjustment scenarios will benefit you the most
Dammitttt boy, new records back to back let’s gooo
alr
in all 5 tries i stayed 1340 or above
so consistency was defo there
Keep it up man, next week you’ll be saying “finally hit masters”
lmao a man can dream
ty for the encouragement and help tho
i really appreciate it
Following vdim you’ll definitely hit masters soon, it’s just a matter of understanding what you lack and build off of that. I think once you hit masters it’s a lot harder to progress due to skills already being so refined and honed that your only option is go faster, so i have no doubt you reach it sooner than you think, just keep pushing yourself and youll see drastic improvements
But vdim isn’t an all rounder aiming trick. It specifically targets key fundamentals to improve your aim but it stops at a certain point, which i believe is around masters, you can still improve using it but there are other scenarios that better target your weak points due to a fresh experience that stimulates your minds ability to adapt to a frustrating experience
ok ok
taking me like 4hours to complete the VDIM today
lmao
kept on having to leave midway
big pb
consistency has improven alot
couldnt finish it all but did most
big improvements
I went for 44cm static, tracking 30cm and the rest also 30cm
ill change as i go ig
my tracking is ass
gonna hyper focus that
i got plat in static and dia on dynamic
tracking is lacking in comparison
Dynamic feels the worst
Its the most inconsistent
I have the highest highs and the lowest lows on dynamic
Static is my most consistent i would say
After i changed to 50cm
Which i hope is low enough as to where my mistakes arent filtered out
My tracking is both inconsistent and bad
Though tracking is really unforgiving
Probably dosent help that i do most of my aim training late at night
So ima work on that 2
You’re in luck pal because Wednesday is precise tracking on VDIM playlist. Highly recommend advanced playlist over intermediate, at least while using a higher sensitivity. After completing the full playlist (it should take about 60 mins) lower your sens to a desired one and benchmark yourself on tracking intermediate
Training should be done on a sensitivity that punishes you for mistakes so your body can learn to fix them. Benchmarks should be done on the sensitivity that offers the best performance
That being said, your progress is great in comparison to what you had. Dynamic is a tough category, and tracking is unforgiving but mastering those two yields the greatest benefits, I know you can do it, looking forward to waking up tomorrow to read about your higher records
I was doing tracking yesterday as well
Changed to 30cm
I got alot of pbs on my bechmarks aswell
But my orignal scores werent that high lmao
Thinking of lowering
I think 45 would be better
50 made it too easy
I wanna improve y'know
Ima go 37 for dynamic as well
Yh ik, just tryna experiment so i can figure out what fits me best
Also as you also play val, what is your sens ingame compared to your sens when aim training?
Or are they unrelated
I play 45cm in Val
but
Have played between 34 and 62 lol
I usually end up with around 45
hugee
thats half of tracking diamond
but my precise orb is trash
sitting on 1618 need 1650 💀
my stability is straight ass
gotta smooth
and smooth some more
and smooth some more
and a lil more
then ill be good
done for today tho
might do some dynamic later but for now im done
On the tracking VDIM i pb everything
by alot too
like 500pts jump each time
and consistent
so that was cool to see
today
Consistency for this task is garbage, get scores ranging from like 1200 to 1600
But soon
Ill clutch up
did you ever try aimlabs benches?
Yes
Havent done them in a while
I think im plat
Some near dia tasks
Ill do them sometime this week and see where i am
stability is still ass
and my aim gets shaky alot
dk how to fix it
but hopefully i will evntually
I haven’t done kovaaks in a while so I’m only diamond on there
Hahah this is indeed aim trainings biggest menace on the block. But it undoubtedly will help you with dynamic scenarios, trains you to want to be done with a target as fast as possible so you click it the moment your crosshair is over that bot. It’s a gem of a scenario
Mouse instability can stem from one of two things; 1. Uncomfortable and new scenario that pushes your body pasts its limit and your body doesn’t know how to react to counteract the problem, and 2. Improper posture and handling of mouse. Sadly enough number 1 can only be fixed by repeating the scenario with a conscious solution to the problem to allow your body to understand it on a second nature level. Number 2 is a problem many people suffer from but don’t realize, West Proctor has a video on the topic and I highly suggest all of his videos if you want some gem knowledge
— I’m proud of you man, I told you you’d break records and it brings joy to me to see others succeed!
Straight garbage
You're so nice bro
Goat fr
My posture is great ik but mouse handling idk
Do you think maybe the way i hold my mouse is detrimental?
Only diamond is crazy bro wp
I find myself kinda jittering alot
Like instead of moving in a straight line i move in a doted on sometimes
not complete tho sadge
I notice it happens the most when im aiming with my wrist
Switching is crazy
I havent even finished the benchmarks ngl
Ima do them today
And go for dia complete
After i fix my tracking
I know, Stevy sucks at coding.
im not sure what could cause this
you're not tensing too hard are you?
or clicking too hard
either may be the problem
Tension control has been my enemy since i started
I consciously relax when i aim
i stopped tensing so much and have noticed much improvement
But when i lock in i tend to forget
do you tense while tracking or was it just the dynamic
It was everything
When im relaxed consistently i get my best scores too
I cant go on my pc rn but this is it
For int
Same
But i do better even if i feel bad
i didnt realize you were just starting int
not bad so far
dynamic is solid
Did you get gold comp first?
Good
Binding a secondary key on your keyboard to shoot could help with tensing and training your hand to apply the least amount of force to aim, and make adjustments. It’s something I personally do. Only works well on tracking scenarios although I know of some Osu players who use it on static as well lol, anyways don’t listen to anyone who says “hold the mouse comfortable to you and you’ll be fine” the mouse is only comfortable to you because you’ve held it like that for so long. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’re holding it right. One problem I had that you might have is holding the mouse too far on the right side of your palm ( if you’re right handed). This caused instability for your hand which makes your muscles over compensate for the lack of support and will overall effect your aim in a negative way. Your main goal as of now is to hyperfocus on what exactly is causing your grip to negatively effect your experience, and find a way to solve it
Are you claw, fingertip, or palm grip?
a mixture of claw and palm
if you want i can send a pic
Sure, whenever you have time
An underside picture of your grip would help too
ngl last year sometime i watched some aim grip vid
and copied it
and now its my natural one
Our grips are nearly identical, one problem I see is the lack of support for your pinky. I suggest a mouse that caters more closely to claw as they’re usually wider and will allow a more stable base for you to aim on. Will it automatically make you a god? No. But it will provide you the stepping stones to further improve your aim. I highly recommend Lamzu Atlantis og v2. I see your mousepad is also tilted but it seems you have a desk mat size. I recommend having the mousepad at the edge of your desk closes to your body so you have a smooth and consistent glide that’s not impacted by stickiness or skin jumps on the surface of your desk
The mouse pad is a shout cause the stickiness does annoy me
but the way i place my arm on the table if i put the mousepad closest to me my natural resting place will be at the top of the pad
i play at an angle for this reason too, so i can place more of my arm on my table
How far up does your arm go on the table?
my perferred is like my whole forearm but stops just before my elbow
ive tried to put less bit by bit and i can play with like 70% forearm i think
i could force 50 and practice with that
Increase your sensitivity for aim training and aim using half of your forearm. This should force your body to want to use less of your whole arm
ok
shouldnt be too hard, its not uncomfrotable for me
Arm aiming is perfectly okay, but when inconsistencies like stickiness occur you generally want to find a way around those asap as those impact aim training massively. Your goal is to create a consistent experience that allows you to replicate results
ima see if i can stop with the angling aswell
but ngl my monitor stand takes up like 50% of my desk
so its kinda annoying to have it in the middle
but ill try and see if i can make it work
I hated having a stand since I also play with my forearm on the table
It would interfere with my mousepad
I too felt this pain. I invested in a nice monitor arm, and bought a 50x30 desk to allow for more arm space 🙂
I mounted mine as well
I don’t think I’d be able to ever use a stand again unless I pushed my monitor back
im planning on revamping my setup at the end of this year
so sadly i gotta wait till then
if worst comes to worst ill just play angled again
my pc desk and monitor
Specs?
rn or what im tryna get?
we up 💯
still have that dotted line problem where my aim jitters
ive discovered that it happens the most when im doing a scen with small targets
so i think its more mental than physical
i think my wrist when tracking tries to catch up with the target but instead of speeding up it does microflicks
i think its also to do with tension
the less tension i have the less controll i feel i have
so i keep tensing up on accident to hit microflicks
ima play angled still tho ngl, its unpractical otherwise
ill still try to put less arm on my table tho
might take another break
dont wanna burn myself out
when i have lot to fix
Breaks are ideal. They are rewarding and allow your mind to take positive note of what just occurred and will help attempt to repeat again. Same as when we’re young and learning a new skill, we make mistakes and learn to not do something, the same applies to positive reinforcement when it comes to aim training. Apply yourself to a scenario again and focus SOLELY ON BEING ON THE TARGET. Not clicking it, not the score, not the speed. Just being on the target, as soon as you’re there click it and take note mentally that what you did was good, and try and repeat it without missing. If you miss more than once in a row, restart. You’re now training yourself that missing is bad and it needs to occur less. This can apply to all scenarios, how brutal you are on yourself will be the difference in progress
I like VDIM because it lines up with my ideals. I’m a gym head so I understand how important breaks are to your body to progress. 70% of your gains come AFTER the workout. Only when you rest and supply your body with the nutrients and rest it needs will it begin to properly heal and grow. The same applies to training.
This is true
I’ve come back from breaks and would pb at times
I get burnt out doing vdims a lot so I personally take breaks frequently, also working pretty much full time on top of that it’s sometimes hard to find the motivation to do it every day
Salute to you for being a soldier and continuing the journey. It’s not easy but that’s what makes what you do admirable. Keep winning man
I get frustrated alot just in general so its easy for me to get really annoyed when im not improving even if i know i will in the long run
So i take breaks to keep my mental straight
Whenever i feel like im starting to get frustrated
What rank?
Plat 3
Gonna hit dia soon aswell
Getting mvp after mvp after mvp recently
Just singlehandedly carried my team to a draw on val
Most fustrating game of val ive ever played
We couldve easily one
I went like 42/23/18
Its bittersweet
I played amazingly and have been consistently throughout this week
But it was so winnable
42 is crazy
made it to dia 1
played average some good and bad games
gonna aimtrain to finish my day off
been tryna aim with less of my arm on the table
it feels a lil wierd
but im slowly getting used to it
im getting frustrated
tho
cause im so used to aiming in like an arc
cause i used to play angled i had to aim in like an arc to go left and right
but like now i gotta aim straight
like i used to do the bottom motion to go left and right
instead of the top
idk how to fully explain it
