@vague frost :)
I think it's very visible how I completly neglected clicking scens for over a year
ok, this task is all about practicing your micro adjustments, so you should approach each shot as you would micro adjusting after an inital flick
also ngl, that senario is AWFUL those targets are so big
i am playing a voltaic playlist and a smaller version of this scenario would've come up right after this
but you are hard aping this sen basically (flicking super fast with no regards for accuracy) when you should still be going slow enough for good accuracy
like, when you're playing 1w2ts, you don't adjust onto target the way you flick here, but those processes should be very similar
so you would just say go slow?
and what do you think about practicing with a metronome?
i can't tell if this is a goofy gimmick or a tool that could genuinely help my situation
no, don't go slow
there is a big difference between slowing down and going slo
you want to be going as fast as you can while being able to visually confirm your target
rn you are just zooming without being able to see if you're on target or not (or you're some kind of genetic freak because i could definently not confirm target if i was going at your speed)
its pretty shit in 99% of situations
pacing should be dynamic throughout your run, and a metronome obviously doesn't allow that.
the only time where i do use it is if i really want to push speed (like if i normally havve at 120 shots per run i will set a metronome to 150 for a few runs)
hmm
I think my real problem is how exhausting the concept of target confirmation is for me
for the first 20 seconds it goes well, then I notice how my vision gets really exhausted & fatigued and then start to zone out
i mean, even in the first 20 second of your run you're not really confirming targets
no not in the vod
you're fast flicking and even if you dont land on target you still click
the whole vod was obviously in the middle of zoning out
but now when I try to apply what you're saying I noticed that
always always always stay focused, don’t aim train for hours on auto pilot remember this isn’t about muscle memory
if you’re struggling a lot with focus lowk try a sens randomizer for a bit it’s super beneficial
wait it isnt abt muscle memory?
Or adderal
Aim is almost 0 muscle memory
never, you can realistically get used to most sensitivities (within a reasonable margin) in like 3 days at the novice level
couple hours when you've put a lot of time into aim training
can you elucidate on this?
could you also elucidate on this?
youre training your brain to know how far it has to move your mouse to hit the rarget
yea that seems like a muscle thing to me
its not
ig thats where im stumped
yoo thank you btw, ever since yesterday i've improved significantly
from 35th percentile to 80th percentile. Still not good but I am on a very good way
it finally feels somewhat good playing static lmao
hopefully I can now improve on the long run as well
aim training is not a practice that gets you "used" to your sensitivity. the concept of aim training is more to get used to the movement of your hand to different pixels on your screen. if you, right now, changed your sensitivity by a small value you would not notice the difference although its there. you would maybe over or underflick for a few seconds but you'd "get used to it." it goes the same with major differences, when you aim train, it's not for that sensitivity, it just affects your mouse control and the correlation between movement of your arm and changing of your screen.
yea this makes alot of sense now, watched a 2 year ld vid by riddbtw and he went over this concept and it finally clicked.
good thing I was able to clarify earlier on into my journey
thanks @sharp oxide
of course fam
