#What is going on in your mind while playing a scenario?

You are definitely overthinking it. You don't necessarily have to think about anything other than just pushing yourself, so just focus on the task and try to do your best.

Don't focus your aim, given that aiming is suconscious, and you cannot consciously force what your subconscious can do.

I usually focus on things differently on every task but I also sometimes have goals for new tasks that I struggle with
Pasu- I don’t focus on speed or precision since I don’t struggle with that so it’s not my aim I have to focus on it’s more of using my peripheral vision to read the movement patterns of the dots and aim where they are heading to and if I miss I just move on since I found that it’s faster and easier to read another target and hit it than focus my attention on the one I missed plus I don’t wanna tunnel vision and forget about the other targets other than that I have to put the reps to develop that skill and I mean it takes time like for gm it took me around a week of this to hit gm and at some point it just becomes second nature.
Smoothbot- I don’t read or predict it’s movement since it’s not needed however since the movement is really predictable u kinda know when it’s gonna change it’s all technique of just having a constant speed and that’s for me mostly arm but wrist is involved on 43cm and to practice this technique I sometimes lower my sens to 50cm and sometimes I’ll even up my sens to 30cm for control practice. Also knowing when to reset ur mouse
1w6t or any 1wwhatever-it’s all just technique and I mean that however I have to push my self too since I tend to just get comfortable at a certain pace and at a certain point yeah I get good scores all the time but that’s the issue with this one I have to sometimes focus on speed while also trying to be as smooth as possible or sometimes I have to just worry about hitting the target itself and for me this one requires more reps than anything and I mean I’d say this task alone has more playtime than all my others combined I also found that there’s no reason to restart since hitting a new record isn’t really constant so I just play it out with mistakes so I can’t fall into 100 restarts before I actually finish the task and I only lower my sens on this one to focus on technique

Making sure u can see the target is also important and eating plus sleep helps a lot

Other things I focus on while I’m doing movement scenarios is well dependent like somedays I’ll do mirroring but I struggle with trying to predict so I have to just think don’t predict just react and for anti mirroring I struggle with moving in the opposite direction sometimes so I have to think move left if it goes right or move right if it goes left and when I free style I just focus on doing weird movements and trying to stay on target

#

For certain quick fast strafes while I’m stationary I try to implement edge tracking which is basically aim at the edge of the target but if it’s moving to the left I aim more on the right side of the target so that if it changes direction I have more time to react since it’s going in the direction of my crosshair and vise versa if it’s going right but this really took some time to get used to like even when I was masters I had to play beginner scenarios so I can get used to edge tracking and during that time I didn’t care about getting new scores just making edge tracking second nature

#

And if the target is really skinny u don’t do edge tracking because it’s not doable since if it’s as big as ur crosshair and for me that’s dot crosshair

#

Reactive scenarios are hard since at first I was like how is this even playable and now it’s not terrible but the way i practiced for it was playing super hard reactive scenarios and I mean like I was getting maybe 5-8% acc and when I do tha for awhile I went back to the original scenario I was practicing and got 50-66% acc on it and to be fair reactive is super hard and add movement to it I just mirror it

#

Smoothness I just played I believe it was called centering in class rn so I can’t check but I would up my sens and try to keep a constant speed u can lower ur sens but my goal isn’t to get a record for on any smoothness scenario I just wanna have good mouse control and I would also play another scenario where it would go back and forth but it has verticality to it

#

There’s more stuff but that’s some of my thought processes

Ah and don’t be scared to change ur sens at some point u just become proficient on all of them but some are harder than others for certain things

#

Also consistency is key play everyday even if it’s like 5-10 mins like sometimes I just don’t feel like getting on anything but I’ll do around a 10 -15 min session of tracking flicking and target switching and they don’t have to be hard

also since i aim train for getting better at games i listen to music talk to friends or listen to a video because i realized i aim amazing when im not bothered but in comp i gotta worry about multiple things and comm but my focus gets divided

#

also u shouldn't really be playing while thinking about nothing even while aim training unless its one of those days u just don't feel like getting on and even then its better to think anyways plus if ur trying to get better since there's almost always something to improve just dont beat ur self over it
