im ngl

#

that is not a mousepad issue

#

ur just lacking smoothnesd

#

sounds like u r tensing

#

a lot

#

focus on applying minimal tension

#

and follow the movement of the bot

#

then work on the precision

#

yeah i watch ur vod

#

and u r super shaky

It’s not something I can control, I can completely relax my hand yet I will still have the resistance against the mousepad.

No one seems to understand this issue, is this my chair height? I should tense my wrist 24/7 to avoid any contact with pad (PROBABLY NOT)? It’s like my trying to aim on a desk without any mousepad, my hand doesn’t glide at all.

Anyway I’ll try to achieve 0% tension and 100% relaxation in hopes that’ll fix it, but still believe this mousepad is dogshit and I had someone else confirm it to me in chat.

You’re partly right, but I don’t tense my forearm. I tense my arm and shoulders I just realized that.

if you really want, you can just buy a new mousepad lol

#

but i agree with z1ye, chances are its just a skill issue, and you wont see that much of a difference even on the worlds best mousepad. it is possible for a good tracking player to still be able to track a bot like this even with their mouse on a watermelon (no im not joking and i will try to find the video)

I should try changing my grip

Just continue to play more smoothness scenarios.

Grip is not the issue, though. Palm grip in general is a bit more stable but in the end it is still a smoothness thing that furhter improves with training.

#

Changing grip around and what not is just looking for quick fixes.

#

To help with mousepad friction, you can always ever so slightly raise your chair given that sitting too low can put a lot of extra weight of your arm on the table, but it shouldn't be too high either that your arm is floating and/or you are sacrificing proper posture

#

My problem was

#

I push my arms in the table

#

Even tho I’m at the right height

#

Might need to lower idk

#

When I just pick the mouse after a break and start aiming it’s butter smooth

#

Then I start to tense my shoulder I suppose.

#

palm grip will only be a bandaid for your issue

#

you are coping bro, you just started so no wonder you are bad.

log at least 100 hours, and then you will realized that you just sucked.

#

biggest advice i can give wholeheartedly: stop looking for external answers from these sources, play the game and figure shit out yourself. most advice you will hear will be the best advice FOR the person who gave that advice, if you want to improve, you have to find your own tips and tricks that work for yourself.

It was an actual issue and everyone just say I’m coping

#

You’re not a god either

#

And I’m at 50 hours now

#

Yep the mousepad is bad, but what made it worse was me tensing arm and shoulder not forearm

#

I push forearm into my desk because of it

#

Now it doesn’t happen

tbf you could still improve with 1 finger 🤷‍♂️

#

Basically slip stick friction is, "where the difference between static and dynamic friction cause your xhair to drag," alot of slow mousepads have this

#

also why delete vod

like, i know SEVERAL people who play at reasonably high levels on paper mousepads, cardboard mousepads, pillows as mousepads etc
