#Aim slowing down
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i dont think so because of the pressure i feel like im not deliberate with my shots most of the time
This is way too smooth and slow for the initial flick.
Work on a faster initial flick (land on target or underflick) and take your time with the micro correction
Also you would never aim like that in any game.
Thats a good way to approach it indeed, but try to decelerate later in the flick
Oh people already answered lol
Whats ur sens?
If its very high might be good to change at least for static, but u have to be faster overall
The technique can and should be applied but at higher speed(snappiness of initial flick)
where is this deceleration advice coming from?
who does that?
no
So far ive heard /seen minigod, cartoon, woohoojin and maybe matty say/do it
Ofc i see other players doing it
mattyow dosent do that
U might’ve misunderstood my advice
neither does bulldog
im literally watching their vods at 0.25x speed
they just stop
They do on a high level im pretty sure, that stopping is not 100 speed to 0
the entire initial flick is at 1 speed
Well it is, but they do the deceleration quick so it might seems like it
We cant physically immediately stop anyway
if not a single frame captures it on 60fps how fast are they doing it?
Better than almost any human i imagine
lol
They are the best for a readon
The decel is the stopping u see
U said they just stop
But they do it smoothly in a stable manner
Thats peak form
what i am trying to say is that they dont slow down during their initial flick
The end of it i believe is high level quick smoothness applied stopping + initial flick distance and power calculation helping to reduce general margin of error
Ask them if u want
you are right
i just asked juicerqt
huh
i guess ive been doing static wrong the whole time lol
U found a way to improve, some will consider u lucky ^^
maybe i finally hit gm on 1w3ts now
the gm dream, stuck on 20 energy for too long
do you have a vod a u doing static im curious to see how you do i because it looks hard to break down on god tier aimers
and thanks everyone for the feedback
why should i try to underflick more than overflick?
45.61 cm/360
having to double back takes longer
U can search my plays on aimlab leaderboard, after u finish a static task from the benchmarks, type in n the search “chasingskyz”
Quick note some tasks i stopped doing long time ago so they arent that updated
U can also look at the performance of people who have slightly better score than u, to see how they did it( how they differ from urs)
ok ok thanks
what do you think about this video?

Initially I wanted this video to be more advanced but I just wanted to start with something educational, I think this is valuable to a lot of people and hopefully will help change your view and mindset on your practice!

I wish I could be doing fancier editing but zz

ok
do you know snowi
I was gonna say this a good habit to have but ksyyZ already said that lol.
Just bring up the initial speed of your flick. Play pokeball to practice your flicks
That vid by matty is good too 😄
ok ok ahah
Although the conversation was already over, I personally want to recommend you Minigod's VODs. I feel like that his VODs show the deceleration part the best, although it still all happens quickly.

In here for example.
Quite interesting honestly to see how smooth it can work
i dont see any delecration
even on 0.25 speed
It happens right before he gets on target. It is quite fast. It is not that much of a "hard stop" compared to people like BardOz
thats just him underflicking tho
It is weird to me you don't see him decelerate. I am watching on 0.25x and quite often he is going from peak-speed to reducing his speed a bit until he stops. Yes, there are some hard-stops, but not always.
Plenty of his motions are much smoother, or his speed is more in an "arc" (if that makes sense) rather than 100-0 in a blink.
My trained eye can see it👁️
i dont know i dont see it
Ah well. Just wanted to share it anyway.
i feel now im just placebo-ing myself to see it lol
😂 lets end the convo here then for the sake of it lmao
i feel like i can do both, fast flicks and micro correction or or the slowing down but the fast flicks are faster for me right now because i lack of traning in slowing down but i dont know if i tryhard one or the other if its going to make it harder for me to do my second choice and if ill have to ''relearn'' to do it well and i dont know if one is better for me
and i play valorant btw
Just focus on fast flick and smooth/slower micros and it will be fine. You don't have to fully relearn your technique
so like i shouldnt overthink it and kind of do both?
Don't overthink it no. Focus on the task, focus on keeping your flicks fast and taking time with your target confirmation and slowly speed up over time. If you feel like something is wrong with your technique, feel free to post a vod in #1153030249198669884
ok ok thanks
yo, should i take an extra moment to know i am on taget even tho im pretty sure i am and 90% or more of the time its true
If you are already sure you are on target, there is no point on taking even more time confirming and should just take the shot. When referring to "making slower/smoother micros", it is just to make sure that you aren't rushing your micros too much where you struggle to do target confirmation.
ok
could you elaborate on target confirmation?
Target confirmation is basically: "Is my crosshair on the dot?"
