I know a lot of people use around 40-20 360/cm but those generally feel slow for me? I use 19-18 360/cm

Does it matter or no?

18cm/360 is arguably too fast to be properly consistent with, especially if you use it for games like CS/Valorant

What about for Apex/Siege?

Personally I still consider it a tad too fast but if you see good results go for it.

I wouldn't go lower than 25cm myself

Alrighty, thank you.

u can still be insane on 19-18 cm in apex
With a condition that ur mousepad is so small u have to play like that
If not, then there is no point

apex is a different game from siege. but in both games you don't aim more than 180 degrees. you aim around 90 degrees average. unless you dont have more than 15cm mouse space I don't think the problem is your sens, it might be your aim style and gameplay. check how much you are using your arm and wrist.

if you want to change your sens and doesnt feel comfy doing it try 50-60 and see what you are missing then make it faster slowly after 5 minutes.

Esp with the shotgun changes where ADS is a good idea now, you can probably get away with a high sens for movement and drones but pushing it lower for you ADS sens. This might allow you to also get used to the feeling of it. Generally, changing to a lot slower is going to feel bad at the start, but you will get used to it with time.
Since you ask, there is a curiosity there, so maybe just take a week and experiment with the lower sens, do some aim training with it and see how it goes ^^

I thought I responded here. Maybe it didn’t post cause of my cellular connection?

# covert hornet In my opinion it feels perfect I use both arm and wrist about the same amount, j...

The most important note to keep in mind though is that if you feel like 20-40cm is "too slow", is that there is some sort of mechnical issue going on on your part.

At the end of the day - stick to the sensivity you like using if you feel like you can be semi-consistent with it. But don't go faster beyond your current sens. You are technically speaking pushing extremes now. And if you want to develop more mouse control (on the other sens ranges), maybe consider experiment with your sens a bit in aimlabs/kovaaks.

In the end it is also just a question of what you want. Learning to use your arm more is a really nice skill to have. And as I said previously, you sound curious enough that I think experimenting with it for a while and get over it feeling uncomfortable might be a huge plus for you. ^^

Definitely. Being used to 1 specific sens range and not really experimenting outside of that usually means that the muscles necessary for the other ranges are a bit underdeveloped.

Happened to me when I started out and happens to many who quite often do too.

So here's my problem.

I switched from 1600 to 800 DPI to get used to the slow feeling.

My Apex sensitivity was 1.3 on 1600 now 1.6 800 that's 19.98cmon 1600 DPI and now 32.47cm on 800 DPI, now I have a desk mouse pad so it is huge, but the problem is; it feels like I'm edging the right side of my mouse pad and hitting my keyboard when doing aim scenarios.

32 is still high, at least a lot higher than mine and im very rarely hitting something

#

Learn to position u and ur peripherals better or learn to reset ur mouse position at the right timings

#

U might want to adjust ur technique maybe, “struth gaming hybrid” might help

covert hornet
#

I do the struth gaming hybrid technique it might just be me not resetting due to the high sensitivity not needing to when arm and wrist aiming at that high

Just keep playing ye ^^

U will adjust

I think just really focus on using your arm for those big motions. I still catch myself doing half arm half wrist on them, so it gets uncomfortable/slow to ajust to an underflick
