800 vs 1600 DPI

What kind of mouse are you using?

There shouldn't be a difference in feel between both DPIs. Are you sure you aren't placeboing yourself in some way?

Also, just to be sure, did you make sure you properly converted your sens when switching DPI? (going from 800 to 1600 you divide your sens by /2 and vice versa you double it)

Yeah I went 800 dpi 0.35 to 1600 dpi 0.175 so it should be the same sens

I do think there's extra latency on 1600 like 100-300 ms

now that I think about it 1600 feels much better on kovaaks and aimlabs but much worse on valorant

Do you have any performance issues by any chance in Valorant? That can cause issue with latency

I usually run high fps (240+ish) although maybe once a week I'll get a match where It seems to be stuck at around 50 despite the fact I have my fps uncapped, no ping issues either

Sounds like not a dpi problem but something in valorant

Did u try reinstalling?

Stuck at 50 is weird

Are your drivers updated?
