So I’m doing demon1’s aim routine I have done the aimlab version but since last 2 weeks I stopped doing it.
I’m feeling my aim is very inconsistent and I haven’t been changing my sens at all.
I play on a laptop which can’t sustain 60 fps and I don’t know if that matters or not.
I also need to know if the aimlab part is useful.
I’ve been hardstuck bronze since the act that I started and I have been playing since episode 5 act3.

It matters a lot. Having unstable FPS, especially below 60FPS can cause a lot of input delay and other issues.
I also need to know if the aimlab part is useful.
If you want to work on your aim mechanics, then of course aimlab is useful. I would however opt in to do the benchmarks first and then the fundamentals routine, both found in #resources
Also remember that your performance can vary greatly from day-to-day. Both improvement and general performance aren't a linear process and can be impacted by a lot of things we cannot control.
I would personally however see if you can upgrade your set-up, given that having unstable FPS at such a low count will affect your consistency quite a lot.
So what can I do about it
Everything is explained in my previous comment
Dude I’m confused man
Can you be more specific? What exactly are you confused about?
U didn’t say anything about the solution all u said was aimlabs
I gave you 3 solutions:
-
Buy a new laptop. This will help with your performance issues that can cause inconsistencies.
-
If you want to work on your general aim, aim training is recommended. You mentioned you stopped doing it, and I recommended to get back into it by doing the benchmarks first, and then doing the fundamentals routine (found #resources )
-
You need to accept that our performance isn't linear and our performance can vary differ from day to day. Some form of inconsistency will always be there.
Are u talking about valorant
I am talking about both Valorant and Aimlabs.
What else can I do with this laptop I currently have, or is there nothing I can do?
May I ask what you already have done? I assume you already play on the lowest settings and what not?
I tried the tenz optimization guide, yes I do play on the lowest settings possible, I have watched videos and reviewed demon1’s aim and I observed he is dependent on crosshair placement and micro adjusting.
Can we talk in dm the cool down after every message is too long
This is likely things you have already done, but in terms of laptop performance:
-
Make sure your drivers/chipsets are up-to-date.
-
Uninstall any unnecessary programs and disable the start-up of unnecessary programs in the task manager that can potentially hog up your CPU.
If neither of that seems to help then I am afraid your laptop is too weak in that regard and the only thing you can really do is buy a new machine.
And sure! go ahead.
