#How to aim at smaller targets

What scenarios are you referring to? Dynamic clicking?
For dynamic clicking mostly, and sort of like, in valorant when some pros are bursting some try staying mostly on the target tracking them, but some flick off and flick back onto the target, is this because of the sens or is it kind of personal preference?
I was wondering if there was an optimal way I should be aiming or if it’s just based on feel!
For dynamic clicking you want to both avoid flicking to a degree and also want to preferably reduce your time tracking. Dynamic clicking is about "smooth intercepting" and flicking can be heavily punished here unless the movement is very easy to read/easy to predict. So be warry of that.
And the flick-off-flick-on technique is I believe weapon-dependend. Some people tend to do that with heavy-hitting pistols like the Wingman in Apex and I believe the Valorant equivalent is some sort of revolver? For them, flicking-off can hlep with visibility but you could argue it is more difficult to pull off.
i see, one more question, I can see how the flicking on and off would be for visability, in valorant alot of players flick on and off for really long range fights (50+ meters) additionally
for the dynamic shooting i can see how intercepting the target would be better, but for more static scenarios if i missed the initial flick, would it be better if i try to flick onto the target again, or try to micoadjust onto the target, and would the micro adjust count as tracking?
You micro adjust, and no, the micro adjust technically speaking doesn't count as tracking.
For static: you want to keep your flicks fast, but take a bit more time with your micro corrections (be slower/smoother). This way you have a good mix of pushing speed while also remaining accurate.
