my communications teacher has our class do typing tests every week, im like around 75-85wpm for 1min typing and most of my class is like 30-40 lmao

I left out the fact that I was using ~6 fingers for a while too

both index and middle fingers and the pinkies

i got to around 120 wpm with that

i think learning 10 fingers can be helpful but it is important to adjust to your style

10 finger typing assigns different keys to different fingers which can sometimes be uncomfortable/awkward and inhibit your speed development

sometimes u gotta switch it up a little bit

say you can hit a key that SHOULD be hit with the pinky better with your ring finger

use your ring finger then
