I am about to just start doing the fundamental routines for platinum while Im nearly gold complete/platinum in some scenarios. If I have time afterwards or if i feel up to it I decided I might do VDIM to specialize in something at the end. Thats what I just kind of came up with myself, but I would love to hear what you would recommend. Im curious what you mean exactly by "doing it right" because thats what I want I want fast improvement and to do it right

The fundamental routines are not very helpful

#

they just mash up every aiming category without much variety or time spent in any of them

#

training tends to be more effective if you focus on only one or two subcategories at a time

#

vdim is fairly good and can help you through intermediate, but it starts to lose its effectiveness when you get around the GM level

#

it's definitely better than the fundamental routines though

#

the idea with vdim is you're training a different subcategory each day, so you isolate each technique effectively while still practicing all of them through the week

#

the scenarios are also more difficult which generally leads to faster improvement (but if the scenarios are way too hard then it's basically worthless)

#

I feel like the most important thing regardless of what you do is actively trying to figure out your mistakes and deliberately trying to improve them, rather than just sifting through scenarios or playlists on autopilot expecting results

#
