#85% rule on aim training

~~From what I have heard, this study doesn't have a ton of support so there aren't hard conclusions that can be drawn.
At the same time,~~ it depends on which scenarios you play. If you play static with much larger targets, then you can definitely uphold a much higher accuracy percentage, while with smaller targets like 1wall-scenarios, you can drop down to and stay above 85% when pushing speed and speed up when you hit 95% consinstantly.
TL;DR is basically - it all depends on the scenario what kind of accuracy% can be held as a baseline.
there was a study for speed clicking that kinda implies that the natural rate is ~85% acc but its also for speed clicking motor there is not enough motor science in video games to say you should definitively apply a specific number
also there is any ways to have optimal stress while not missing the bot. With the Bardpill method, if you miss the flick by a lot you have to take soo much time while correcting that it feels like you missed even though you hit the target in the end.
the study has a ton of support, its just hard to cross over to an aim trainer without being pseudo intellectual about it
i go a little bit over it in this blog post https://robbfps.substack.com/p/what-is-aim
as for the gridshot study, it's gridshot and the movements being executed are less precise and fine then really any other scenario in aimlab, so we can't just automatically attribute it to something like a typical static clicking setting because its a different movement being executed entirely
Thanks for the link. I will check it out.
there is one point i don't address because it's kind of tricky to talk about too, we don't know how to really define 85% accuracy in an aim trainer and what it could really consist of task to task, just 85% accuracy as a generic statement is too broad when we need to isolate individual factors in technique to really determine how to recommend it as well
yeah 85% isnt specific in this case could vary by a lot
also gridshot was the most popular senario played by enough new and random people where they could do a larger study like this
this is the most voltaic jade thing ive ever heard /s
but on a real note 75% acc on most tracking scens is the sweetspot
bro asked if there was a study done on aimtraining. I even said that there wasnt something that could point to a specific number/ other ways to measure a challenge
my bad for being jade, skill issue I guess
skill issue im afraid
