#Consistently Having a Hard Time Flicking Down

Ive tried different methods to fully fix this problem but I've only been able to semi-fix the issue. The biggest issue is that it does not feel natural to move my arm down compared to moving left, right, or up.

I changed my sens from 43.29 cm/360 to 34.63cm/360 so I could vertically adjust my mouse easier but it only helped a little. I always intended to increase my sens so I do not think this affected my mouse control, and I've performed consistently around my previous performance with the new sens.

I also alternated between Palm and Fingertip Grips before I changed my sens but now play mostly with Fingertip Grip. The grip did provide more range of motion to look down but it reached a certain point where my mouse reached my palm. At that point, it was awkward to aim from there and I had to readjust my mouse.

I tried to elevate my chair so that it would be more natural to move my arm down but my table is set up in a way that it prevents me from elevating it any higher. I'm not able to change my table and any videos I looked up only restated what I tried.

I've considered changing my Y-axis sens but some of the games I play combine both X and Y axis instead of separating them. I feel like this solution would be awkward to get used to and seems like a band aid solution to the problem.

What would be the best way to solve my problem?

pillow below u for height check

Simply by training it.

You are having a technique issue. You already did the necessary changes to slightly alleviate the problem (like fixing your chair height) but there is nothing you can swap or change to fully fix this other than training it.

Maybe @hybrid nexus has a few good suggestions for those.

ye

i would use shoulder

hybrid nexus

same i would use arm and shoulder. But thats cause iam used to it

shoulder and elbow going behind the body somewhat

so would it be fingertip for microadjustments, arm for horizontal movement, and shoulder for vertical movement?

(I also would revert your sens back to 43cm for Valorant given the game prefers more precision over speed 😬 )

hybrid nexus
#

Finger and wrist for small adjustments (micros) / Arm and shoulder in combination for bigger ones

sacred granite
#

well yes, but dont think about it that much let ur in game movements be more fluid and subconscious

If you also shrug your shoulder up or hunch it would screw your shoulders in the long run.

yea i forgot about the wrist i also use that for microadjustments. @molten lagoon what would be a sens you would recommend for most fps games because I dont really play Valorant I just used it as an example

my mousepad is also an Artisan Hien FX Soft is that helps

Depends on the games you play.

Valorant/CS benefit from a slower sens (40cm and slower)

Apex from fast to semi-slow (25-40)

CoD/BF around the faster side (25-35).

OW can be anything depending on the heroes you play (25-80).

Just better of using different senses for different games cause there isn't really a 1-size fits all IMO. I tried looking for that and I always had issues with specific games.
