#Under-tracking in Apex

I’ve been trying to improve my aim in apex and so started to mess around with sensitivity. My original sens is 1.39 (800 dpi). I’ve been messing around with sens ranging from 1.05 to now 1.3. Idk if it’s my play style or just needing to be better but I find myself under-tracking a lot no matter sens. I’ll even move up a little bit on a given sens (1.2-1.21 i.e) and I’ll still find myself under tracking just right behind them by a couple pixels. It wasn’t a problem before messing around with sens. Any way to fix this or any recommendations.
I also do kovaaks and switch my sens every exercise, should I be training differently?

Id like to add, I wouldn’t consider my aim by any means bad on my original sens (masters/pred level player) but thought maybe switching sens could improve my aim in the long run. Am I thinking about it all wrong?

No you are correct. Changing sensitivities can help with training different muscles and what not.

But you are better off doing that in an aim trainer than in Apex. As I said, Apex is quite a fast paced game that benefits more from a slightly faster paced due to the hectic close-ranged gunfights you can be in.

If you want to continue doing it in Apex, at least stick within a reasonable range (not slower than 45cm) and do not do it by trying to "fix" a specific issue.

Your undertracking issue is a technique issue. Changing sensitivities might help alleviate it a bit but it will not fix it.

# mint phoenix Thanks man, hearing I just need to get better is quite literally what I needed t...

I will only talk for the aimtraining POV here:

Some people tend to switch when they got to a different category (from clicking to tracking for instance) and there are also plenty who use a different sens on every scenario. They just change it around slightly to whatever feels best for them that given situation.

That can however be a bit difficult and a little overwhelming at the start, so I would just use something different when hopping to a different aim category.
