#Starting the Journey; few simple questions.

Hello! I am going to be starting my improvement journey tomorrow and just wanted to ask a few questions to help guide me in the right direction. My two focuses are going to be in Hunt: Showdown and Aim Training (Voltaic, Kovaak). My questions are as follows:

  1. For Hunt: Showdown, generally, a lower sensitivity (40 - 70cm) is utilized since it is more similar to a tactical shooter. I personally use 52cm/360; I understand that I would see an advantage training at a higher sensitivity but for the benchmarks would I be fine sticking with that sensitivity?
  2. I plan on doing my training routine daily each morning though I do not plan on grinding benchmarks daily. I wanted to make monday, wednesday, and friday my benchmark days. What would be a healthy amount of time to stick with for benchmark grinds before I should call it a day? I am not worried about reaching X rank's in X amount of time but I do want to have some efficiency.
  3. Out of curiosity, are there any Hunt: Showdown grinders among your ranks that post content ❤️ Would love to connect.

  1. u can train on any sens, training with different sensitivities is sometimes ideal to scores and technique, but always beneficial to your mouse control development

  2. general advice is fundamental everyday, benchmark once a week or so. i would say an hour or so is good

Do you think 20 minutes 3x days a week would be a good alternative to a 1 hour session of benchmark grinding? Or should I just pick a day and do an hour.

whatever works for u ^^ experiment and see

if u want, there's already a routine that has benchmarks built in, and each day is different category

#

called vdim

#

u can search on youtube

#

its for kovaaks only atm but some of the routine is on aimlabs

#

fundamental is plenty good already tho

Interesting. Does VDIM have a similar structure to the fundamentals? Scaling difficulty and similar time to complete? I will look it up right now since I suspect my question will be answered easily. Thank you for the help!

benchmark I'd say do once a week consistently and also if your aim feels really good on a particular day you can dedicate that day to score grinding even if you already did benches for that week which is something I do personally. Also sometimes I spend an entire 2-4 week period not playing benches if I hit a slump and just focus on getting getting control that way when I play the benches again I can destroy my scores.
