It will improve with training.

You want your grip to be as relaxed as possible, because hard-gripping doesn't actually make you more stable + it makes you more prone to fatigue and injury.

Just focus on the targets and continue training.

For shakiness, play a lot of smoothness scenarios

Grabbing it harder doesn't really make you less shaky or give you more control. In reality, you are causing extra shakiness due to fatiguing/overusing your muscles, reducing range of motion and make yourself more prone to injury.

For tracking scenarios, you always want your grip relaxed. For static, you want to alternate between a little bit of tension for stable flicks, but then relax for smooth micro corrections.
