#Wrist feels locked

I am going to provide a counter here and say please don’t become a casual by making the stakes feel lower, focus on performing well when put under pressure. If your wrist locks, learn to play well when your wrist is locked, if you lose mobility when your wrist locks, then focus on forcing your wrist to move when the time comes for you to focus.
while i get what u're saying, he's probably not trying to go pro, and by caring less he will win more. ofc he should try his hardest still, but not actively think "omg we're gonna lose fk fkf fk", that was my intention, that sort of thinking makes play quality really bad, coaches in tournaments will call a timeout by that time
I mean, if he wants to be casual, then yeah, what you said would be the best thing, but I just assume most people who are in here are here because they are new to PC and want to get good and competitive.
u can apply it to comp too im playing comp everyday almost but im trying to not 'care too much' that it affects my health or my play
i still get stressed/heart beating but i try to not get angry/locked basically too much
when he gets 'locked' i think if he think "only a game after all, what i gotta do right now is this, this this and this, if i make it, good, if not, all good still. and ithink that will enable him to perform his best
The idea is to get as close to scared and flinching as possible but controlling it to the point that it becomes a reaction and becomes your adrenaline in a hot situation. If you're locking up you're doing it wrong, you're letting it control you and that's the part I was talking about focusing on "unlocking" earlier. Angry is ok as long as you can cut the emotion the moment it's time to focus, if you stay angry when you should be focusing, then you lose focus.
i get u more now, thats a skill worth learning for sure. my last sentence is kind of unlocking tho no?
maybe, but I don't believe in the complacency of losing unless you're just trying to have fun, though I play different games than you I'm assuming, and the games I play are usually high-stakes where you lose everything if you die, where for you if you lose one round in a team based game you can still come back
my position is ofc we shouldnt lose, and if we lose we can learn from that and try fixing it, but sometimes things happen and we lose, cant win all the time. which game is it? ye im playing val
it's not just one game, it's the style of game that I've always like, I play Unturned mainly, I played deadzone before that, right now I'm playing Hell Is Others, etc.
I also like fast paced games like Quake where stakes are low if you die just once, but the fast paced nature of it is what intrigues me, the highest test of aim and map control and movement etc.
top quake players got scary aim its nice to see
