Hey everyone, recently I've got my russian analog of skypad (it is actually good and please don't blame me for being russian) and since it is fast af I decided to switch to faster sens. I know that 15cm is too much and all that stuff (I really know) but still I want to learn play on it because it's so fun for me it's amazing. Main games rn are OW (Mccree, Tracer, Widow - 15cm/15cm/20cm) and CS (20cm), some Apex and QL (both 15cm). Anyone can recommend routine or what to focus on with this kind of sensitivity? Surely I can just follow OW VT routine, for example, but since my sens is extremely high, maybe someone can give some tips on it.
#Tips on learning 15cm/360?

Definitely keep playing lots of QL on that sensitivity, that’s all I got to say.
yeah, that's true though I'm looking for something to focus more on improving.
Smooth tracking and reactive track, and just remembering to not autopilot and max out every session is important for real improvement.
Just don’t
Other than that keeping it on for more than 2 days is nice
15cm is too high
Yea but he specifically said he wants to lol
With Skypad+good mouse its doable tho
Yeah ig
Let me find him I think his name is bigbird? One sec he plays on ultra high sens
Also some br val pro plays on 9cm
But for ow idk if its good for mcree LOL
Just main tracking chars or you are nerfing yourself
🌝 I was gonna say, if 15cm is high, I’m in the moon rn
Yeah
I hate my sky pad
Ehh like 130
Why don’t you like it?
Yeah thats wild
It’s got zero stopping power
And my main mouse has glass skates so I can’t even use it on a glass pad
It’s like sliding your mouse across ice
I flick my mouse it goes like 8 inches
The double whammy, yeah don’t want to ruin the pad or the skates with those.
I just use my model o for it
Only game I ever played with it was apex
And vaks
Trying to sell it rn
Vaks?
I think its good for like cod/battlefield ts style right but since I haven't used it idk about like static or dynamic stuff
KovaaKs?
For me it’s good for high sens as well, I can see how people would find issue in low sense on it.
I use 72.5cm and when I used the shidenkai having 0 stopping power was wild
Rn there are 20,000 online role-less
Do you use your skin on the pad, and if so, your palm, forearm, fingers, wrist? @grand remnant
uhm
well
i have an aim sleeve
what i would do
if you dont
cause this is what i did
to keep my pads clean/pristine
clean the entire area that your arm/hand touches the pad with soap b4 playing lots of sessions to not only keep the pad up but to keep it smooth and newish lol but fi you dont have a sleeve its fine to touch, just remember to not like
press down hard
on your mouse
remember to keep it almost at a glide
and yes i wrest my arm onthe pad tho if you are curious
relax at all times try not to tense up
its okay if you feel your muscles like contracting lol but as long as it doesnt get shakey or stopping you from clicking fast
Oh lol, you and I play completely differently so I was mainly just interested in the friction part since you play at 72.5cm/360°
But uh, you float your hand and fingers above the pad then?
nono its relaxed
Oh, does your sleeve cover the parts of the skin that would touch the pad on your palm or wrist and/or fingers?
Oh ok, interesting, it’s almost like a skin-tight super thin glove.
Well most people use them to stop friction and help aiming, which it definitely makes aiming more smooth, but it also takes care of your pads
The friction and ability to feel my surface is super integral to how I aim on any mouse surface but I get how it could help a lot at low sensitivities like yours
oh, nice!
thank you
exactly
I asked the same thing on reddit and I really don't know why people being so toxic
that's just insane
I just don't understand why focus on slow sens when generally high sens have benefits if you are good enough
I mean, of course that's a personal preference
Sorry for the shaky tracking, I recently switched from a 92gram mouse to a 57gram mouse and im still adjusting :)
this is just too cool for me to ignore the fact that this is possible
People from most other communities only see sensitivities higher than 20cm/360° as being "too high" and nothing else. They are simply arrogant and give no chance towards the idea of things like high sens and accel automatically assuming them to be unusable and bad for muscle memory. They are dense by default for thinking so, just ignore their toxicity and continue to improve until you can use high sens to beat all of them with ease.
That's also why I like VT so much, because VT is open-minded and well educated on all topics of aiming.
thank you so much for this :)
i thought people in r/FPSAimTrainer the same as there discord aim communities
Well,
There are a bunch of people here with inflated ego, or fragile ego so be careful xd
Just remember that perfect practices will benefit your aim no matta what sens it is
yeah, that's true thing
