https://youtu.be/HMk9qeDYFXE This run was done on 50cm, i'm left handed using mouse on my right hand and i just noticed this shakiness on such a low sens, thing is i've been grinding precise tracking for about 2+ years now and i grinded from silver to where i am now and apparently i still have a smoothness issue. I've been grinding precise tracking on a higher sens about 25cm to improve my control as it's said that higher sens improves faster and there's also one specific scenario where i've barely improved after all this time which is centering II which i believe is a precision and smoothness heavy scenario, here's a run: https://youtu.be/tuNEdZRxafM I've never been dextrous enough to use even high DPI for windows browsing so i suspect my handedness could be a limitation, or maybe the Viper Mini is too small for me and it causes tension?(18x10cm hand, kinda fingertip-palm hybrid). I don't want to blame things other than pure skill issue but i see scores going up over time and i can't feel my smoothness and precision going up. I feel like i've also hit a plateau on static where i lack precision but no matter how much i practice bardpill or not i can't improve my precision(been doing 30cm lately but i bounce between 40-35-30cm). Games i like to play are Tarkov, CSGO/Val, OW2, WZ, BF and i don't feel comfortable droping down to 50cm on some of those like OW2 DPS for example.
#Help fixing my shakiness/aim overall

If anyone is curious, time will tell but I've swapped mouse to a slightly fatter one and aiming felt smoother
I'm left handed like you. I believe this precision comes from our lack of tactility, if you notice with your left hand when we write we feel our fingers active. in our non-dominant hand we don't feel this thing, in my opinion it's something that can be improved with two things: writing and using web aim trainers. I ask you why, and I'll explain it to you. in the first (writing) it means learning a motor skill that certainly helps a lot even on mouse control, and the second with regard to aim trainers on the web and to train the fingers. when you are on kovvak/aimlab you don't use your real grip like when you surf the web. also training on these aim trainers you will strive to train with your fingers, which will then help you on kovaak
Noted noted and noted thanks i have this same issue
try doing this: 1/2 hour right hand writing 1 hour with aim trainer from the search engine an hour of kovaak. and any exercises with weights for both left and right forearms. try this for a month, if you see extreme benefits, continue like this, if you prefer comfort after a month, you should switch to the left. it could still be uncomfortable the first few months, especially for movement, you would slow down a lot, but it will be easier to adapt. and something i have considered often, but i will look into it after i finish my first month
I am also left handed and noticed that smoothness issue but it hasn't gone away
my sens is 74 cm but feels comfortable, maybe it could be my issue
I think it's your problem, sens as low as 74 cm I think the 70-80 pervent of People remains soft, at best they can try jittee aim. low sens is not a solution, but hide, to improve you need to use higher sens
id tell you i recommend switching to left hand, as im switching to left hand right now, but i dont have the stats nor anecdote to back it up. been left hand mouse for 15 days to and around gold VT where i was previously plat VT. i assume given a couple more weeks ill have better scores as before, but i really couldn't tell you
platinum/gold is a rather low level, I too get Gold with my left hand in 3 days, but in game situations getting used to the movement is very different, it is not impossible, but it depends on the timing. if you've been playing for a month or two, it makes sense to switch to the left.. but if you've been playing for 3/4 years.. not even 3/4 months will get you to the point you are now. practice improves, that's all. in calisthenics you lift the body with finger strength in some exercises, not because one is left or right handed. some cs pro players are left handed and use the mouse with the right hand. beyond the advice I've given, I'd suggest Different grip types. analyzed! Does the tremor come from the fingers a lot? switch to finger and train it.. is the tremor coming from the arm/shoulder? switch to palm grip and make it natural to do it without shaking. wrist tremor? use claw and so on. kovaak trains mouse control skills, any grip you use can and you have absolute chance to improve. some pro players still use the palm as a grip. I've never held a Mouse with a Palm grip..but I have to be honest, for me it solved my problems by simply trying it and making sure it came naturally to me. thanks to this I can finally use my Palm/claw hybrid without taking my palm off the mouse (it used to be a bad habit of mine)
ill pay you $50 if you hit gold in VT 3 days from on left hand with webcam. as of 1/19 11:55 PM CT
if you are coherent with what you say, I can make you a recorded video where I have been doing things since that day
I would have already done this weekend but I'm with the girl
I already have the webcam for the mousecam aniway
If you haven't played on left hand in the past, there is absolutely no chance you hit gold in 3 days. You're plat on your other hand...
Nah,tell me one day where to start the bet and I will be happy to share
it's not as hard as you think, what's really hard is getting used to using your right hand to move, it's a matter of different depth in game
if you are left-handed and pass to the left, the adaptation time is less than you think
How much time does it take to adapt when left handed using mouse on the right like a week or? I think it would be interesting challenge to try left hand first time
and subjective, but if you're left-handed I think already after 4/5 days. for movement even more than a month or two
Thanks
@brisk marsh did you found good setting for keyboards?(for left hand )
i use OKL; for WASD and tilt my keyboard. some binds I use are I P U Y 8 7 0 RSHIFT RCTRL V B N M
Keyboard 75?
wdym
curiosity, I have the keyboard 60 percent .. and to see if it could be done as a test
i have a 65%, honestly i dont think where you place the WASD keys really matter, other than making sure your mouse isnt hitting ur keyboard or ur keyboard isn't falling off your desk
