This is a serious post btw.
I actually am starting to get angry at myself and be sad from time to time just because I don't see any improvement in kovaak's, I've been iron for almost a week on the benchmarks, my aim is still terrible in game (Apex)
Is all of this because of overthinking ? I'm not even sure how to just turn my brain off and keep going, because at this rate, without any improvement I will probably have to stop aim training before I just lose my mind :c

This is very likely thanks to overthinking.
You say you are iron for a week. Does that mean you also have been aim training for a week?
First of all - remember that a week is an incredibly short time. You will not notice improvements right off the bat. It might take a couple more weeks or longer to start noticing results.
Second of all - the scenarios that you play, how difficult are they at the moment? If you find the scenarios not really challenging, then the amount of progress for that said challenge will be lower and lower. If you think the current challenges are too easy, you should try the fundamentals that are a rank higher. If you find them too hard at the moment, just keep at it and work on building good habbits.
With tracking - good habbits are that you do not try to predict movements, nor do you flick back to targets if they change direction. Follow the targets as if they are going 1-specific way endlessly, and if they change direction, do not flick (as in, aggressively flail your mouse) to the target, but do it as smoothly as you can with decent enough of speed.
With static clicking - Good habbit seems to be to adapt a combination of speed and accuracy -> Do a hard/fast enough flick to the target, and take a bit more time with the micro correction.
In general - I am not sure if you focus on your target or your crosshair, but if you do the latter, learn how to focus on your target. It helps a lot with reading their movements.
I also want to mention - Apex is quite a fast paced and twitchy game in terms of it's movements. I am sitting on gold-rank fundamentals and even I cannot quite often keep up with the speed of the game.
Also translating aim trianing to a game can be difficult, because you are now applying recoil, movementspeed and graphical clutter into the mix. Do not be hard on yourself if it doesn't work out.
Also very important to note - grip style and sensitivity do not matter, but if you feel like your sensitivity is a little too fast or too slow, then you can always change it up.
Try your best to not overthink everything. Dont think about how to move your arm, wrist or fingers. Dont think about how you hold your mouse. Dont think about your sensitivity. Just try your best to focus on your targets and learn good habbits and the improvement will eventually come. But you have to allow yourself to think that this might take some time.
I see, thanks a lot for all of this, I in fact think a lot about my sensitivity, grip, position etc and I should probably think less, Also I have like 2 months of free time and that's also a huge pressure that I'm putting myself on, I wanna improve as much as I can in these 2 months which causes me to actually overthink it and probably improve much less
(But I will try my best to actually follow these tips, thank you)
Do not get me wrong, thinking about your aim in certain aspects is not a wrong thing to do, but thinking about grip, sensitivity and posture gets into over-thinking territory that will not really help you in the long run. I have been asking questions like this not so long ago myself, and they really do not matter in the end.
You can aim well with every grip style. Each grip style has it's pro's and con's, meaning that every grip style will have it's "mini-challenge" that has to be overcome and trained. All that matters is that you just practise, and if you really are unsure on what you do wrong, you can always ask for help 🙂
Got it, thank you. I should probably keep on trying to reach bronze on the benchmarks tbh
I would stick to the Iron or Bronze-fundamental playlist, depending which of the two challenges you enough without being too easy or too hard, and maybe consider benchmarking yourself again in 2 weeks instead of 1 week. Surely some progress has been made by then, even if it might be small. Progress is progress.
Another great resource is the LG56 daily routine playlist:
This playlist tackles a different scenario of aiming on each different day. Many have seen great results from doing this too. You can always check it out.

oh nice I sure will, thanks !
YAS LG56, can confirm it's great
Aimtraining is a marathon and not a sprint. It'll take some time to reach your goal so don't stress out in not seeing progress in a week.
While being frustrated is quite normal don't beat yourself up too harshly, you've gotta understand and accept that it's just part of the process. Focus on the techniques instead of the scores. Nail the basics and let the benchmarks show the improvement
Yup yup!
Do not let highscores become the goal of your training. Highscores do not really matter. It is more about having a consistently improving average score, and of course that is not a steady line going to the top, but usually a line that has it's ups and downs. A "wave", if you will.
