For all you hardcore gamers out there like myself, I promise you getting blue light blocking glasses (preferably High quality brands like Felix Grey) It is the biggest game changer i have found for aim training. My eyes use to get so watery and i would be in actual pain from my eyes looking at the screen, i got my felix greys and it’s been a night and day difference and won’t aim train without that. It is something that you see the results almost instantly. Just a tip for you gamers

Why not just use a blue light filter? Doesn't that achieve the same pretty much?

Based on experience, no. I always played with the blue light filter on and still did not achieve anywhere close to as good of results i achieved with the glasses. I have no evidence but here is my thought process, Putting filter on is like buying blue light glasses from amazon for 10$ it does soemthing, but doesn’t do it well, when you buy high quality glasses, you are getting a lot more out the product than the 10$. Monitor company’s don’t focus on blue light @magic steppe

If this does make sense to you, if you do get them, wear them for like 2-3 days, and try to train without them, and your eyes will be dying. it’s a product you don’t realize you need until you don’t have

I think using a monitor setting would be better since its the one that can actually tone down to your choice and its free. Basically accomplishing the same thing

The glasses allow for 0 tint, so you get full color from your monitor, without the eye strain

its possible but there is little evidence that blue light blocking fliters have effect on digital eye strain

#

to what i have found is that the symptoms of computer vision syndrome are just a little less and not a huge difference

but again this hasent verified potential

@strong crag @magic steppe I wanted to test this so i gave it a try, My default settings on my monitor when i normally play, Is blue light settings of 3/10, I turned my blue light setting to 10/10 and took off the glasses, it took me 5 minutes aka 5 scenerios to already feel fatigue in my eyes. Normally i can play until my wrist or hand starts to wear out before having to take a break with the glasses on

You might want to see an eye doctor i dont think its normal to feel eye strain within 5 minutes

Im telling you, I am able to game and everythign without the glasses, but these glasses save your eyes. Like i said before, it is something that you dont realize that you need and how bad the monitor is for your eyes until after you wear them

#

just because you are use to something, doesnt mean you should be doing it still you know what im saying. You are so use to doing something you think that its normal the way it is, but once you change into a healthier way of doing it, you realize how bad it was for you before

I don't think your 5 minute experiment is reliable evidence :D
