Nerds

I think it’s best to keep them both. That way you can give appropriate advice according to the channel topic
Less room for confusion
I feel like guidance is more out of place than the individual channels..
it looks like it should fill a role of having some threads to answer FAQs and then have other threads for more in-depth discussion which can clog up the individual channels
I hate this meme.
@forest elbow beep boop
but as of right now it just feels like a more convoluted and scattered version of those channels combined, with the same simple questions appearing but in a worse format
Really? I personally feel like it's more organised, and easier to help everyone out
What I do agree with is that it looks cluttered on the channel discord sidebar, seeing all those threads clog up screen space
you can unfollow the posts but that's still its own little inconvenience
Yeah they defo need to fix that
I guess another problem is that not all the tags appear unless you click on them
do the threads time out after a certain time?
I believe they do, but not sure
some haven't been typed in for 11 days and are still there
yeah that's a little awkward
I know in the partner discord server a lot of people are giving feedback on it haha
Like making threads unfollowed by default
yeah i'd like that
And adding more screen real estate to the guidelines
Since it has so much empty space that is unused
We could add an entire FAQ in there if they did that
I hate this meme.
For fuck sake
giving threads expiration timer and having pinned threads that don't expire would be nice
nerd
who ever created this bot is an asshole for adding that as a feature 😭
agreed
Disappearing threads isn’t a bad idea
this is not so nice
If they gonna keep it this way I might add a forum category
so we can fold it
FAQ

the pinned faq being more prevalent helps
(compared to being hidden in pins)
maybe having a help-faq channel would stop more people from asking some common questions and help them understand purpose of the different channels
I think all the normal channels should probably stay in case people have really specific questions/something that might only apply to a small amount of people
#1020497754507714611 we have this in the new forum channel #1019641746776412200
also have a doc
but ye a channel might be good too, only thing that is a big inconvenience is to have to edit it multiple places
