Thinking of setting up a Voltaic Minecraft server, but I want it to be somewhat free from griefing, any suggestions?

Increases barrier to entry, but it does make it more fun

I honestly think just a basic server to test out how it'd work would be fine for now (maybe adding a few plugins etc)

The main thing towny does is allow people to create nations/towns and claim land that only they can do anything with, you can limit the amount of land people can claim to prevent people from claiming half the server.

Most Antigriefing mods try to restore from previous saves or data to prevent griefing but honestly if you just have everyone link their discords to an account it makes it a lot easier to track people down if griefing does occur

I'd avoid most magic mods if you wanted to prevent griefing since most of them add a lot of features which are not casual friendly or can be exploited to inconvenience other members in unintended ways

Just don't get an entire modpack since usually there is a few mods which become an issue
