Generally when people say ‘smoothness’ when referring to technique they mean clean and efficient motions that aren’t shaky or jittery

There is also the category of ‘smoothness’ like serf plays a lot of yes, which is readable but quite precise, tracking

and yes

Playing all categories can help with ‘smoothness’ within that category

because ideally you don’t want to be super jittery ever, you want to be in control of what you’re doing

you want to be efficient in your motions

i have a question in regards to a scenario called "Strafeshot CS2" in a playlist "Counter Strike 2 Aim Basics", its small targets which are strafing shortly in one direction, stop, and then in strafe in the other direction. If I track and click, I often then overshoot because just before I click, the target stops. If I try to flick, I also miss often because they just stop at that point. Can anyone help me what the best approach is there? Should I predict where they will be and wait there with the cursor. or wait until they stop to flick to it? Is there a specific mechanic for that?
