In most of the game situation we would never have hold lmb for a minute. Even for character like soldier 76, the ammo needs to be reloaded in like 10 seconds and i can let go of LMB. So wouldnt it be better to just use spacebar for tracking scenario training, for target switching I understand the need for holding LMB.

There's more to it than just holding m1 For a minute, If you have bad tension habits (and most people do this unfortunately) Even if you're holding down the button for 3 seconds, you might end up subconsciously pressing in too hard which will not only fuck up your tension but it changes your glide significantly since if you're pressing into your pad you have giga static friction which also just means you can't react to strafes as smoothly

For the first part yeah, normally Target switching teaches you how to release tension but You still run into the same problem if you're playing a more evasive TS scenario where the bot has a higher ttk. Your tension might creep so fast that you go from having none to way too much in half a second
It's more noticeable in tracking though bc most of the time we tense up to compensate for a lack of reading
Or when a player in wtv game catches us off guard with a movement pattern or just straight up scares us loll
