Another question - I see people do all kinds of weird stuff in games during fights. Some people stay crouched and still while they shoot. Some people jiggle peek constantly. Some people strafe in and out of cover. Some people rapidly crouch and stand up. Is there any sort of science to all of that?

I only ask because there is a similar strategy in MMOs - primarily WoW, where melee attacks just keep running through you back and forth. But, in my testing with this method, it actually lowered DPS. It might cause opponents to miss, but definitely causes my attacks to miss. Or like my friend who plays pokemon and mashes the B button when he throws a pokeball because he thinks it increases capture rate (I've looked at the code: it doesn't). But he swears by it. So I'm wondering if all these weird movement things are more of a religious ritual than anything real. In most shooters, moving at all causes your accuracy to go down, so I feel like it might be the same.
