i find that in r6 if you have good crosshair placement, which comes to game sense and knowing what angles to place your crosshair for on top of head level crosshair placement, micro flicks and adjustments and a decent level of tracking, that will get you far. like im doing these benchmarks trying to get to these ranks complete, and im just noticing that I'm still whiffing a lot in games. now obviously im not expecting fast results and of course it's going to take time and aim training is always there in its subtlety, but I feel like if im only using a handful of these skills in game, and im training stuff that i wont be using, sure i'll be more well rounded but it won't help me if im only playing r6 atm for example.

so for reference im using a Raiden X-soft, polanning on getting a zero soon. With pulsar x2h mini. I just got gold complete and ive been grinding daily since i did that like last week. I was looking at my flicks and when i stopo they are were very jittery and liens werent straight. So i saw the voltaic video referencing tension release, but its so subtle. My flicks are definately straighter and less shaky when stopping, but its quite difficult for me to actually practice the tension release outside of switching tasks.
