Tension management is just how you describe The following
How much or how little you squeeze your mouse and how how good you are translating that tension from your fingers all the way to your shoulder and back down if needed
Where this tension is placed (moving the mouse with your wrist for example IS placing tension in your wrist. You can also still place tension there even if you're moving your mouse with your arm, sounds complicated but it's not that bad)

Some people feel like control is bad/ just slop bc it's "pattern learning" but I can easily debunk it by control scenarios being unpredictable is bad. That's not the point of them,
The point of control scenarios is understanding a pattern and building the control to have the ability to stay on the bot through multiple direction changes, learning how to " catch" strafes calmly and smoothly to maximize uptime. It takes good reading still even if the space the bot occupies is much smaller then maybe something like more reactive
