you apply too much pressure so you normally lead in front of the target, and then due to the realisation of too much pressure you try to have less pressure on target, but since when you have any pressure at all its hard to regulate the amount of pressure/force you put on your hand/wrist, you start heavily undercorrecting meaning you will end up behind the target, and then you tense up again, etc. its a cycle
