I played osu! for quite a bit and I used to just pause and reset every time I missed, because I was too obsessed with fcs. I found that playing the map all the way through was way better, because when I tried again the next time, my arms felt way more warmed up and a lot more responsive. Which equaled better scores etc.

I tried this with kovaaks and it worked well. Even if I missed, I needed to just complete the run anyways because I needed to train the muscles to aim consistently the whole time instead of resetting frequently and only aiming well for like a second. It sounds ridiculous but yeah
